Right from the time the rumours started spinning regarding this camera more than a year back, I've been keeping a close tab on its release and feature sets as and when they were leaked. Very happy with the specs. For me eye auto-focus at 4K 120p and IBIS are the real winners. Though 8K is an overkill and we hardly have any hardware around in our day to day lives to support it, it future proofs the gear. However, the concerning fact is the overheating issue that is being reported by various people. 4K 120 is having that issue as well. Canon needs to address it in order to make this a winner! Also, Canon R6 is a very nice toned down alternative which is also reportedly having the overheating issues at higher frame rates. Let's wait for some firmware updates or another iteration of the same camera. Overall, well done Canon - for breaking its conservative mould and coming out with some daring specs!
