This game is ridiculously beautiful especially all that Pauliina Hannuniemi artwork! When I opened my copy last weekend I immediately ran back to the Kickstarter campaign to check whether there was an artbook that I skipped pledging for. Never wanted an artbook of board game art so bad. Also hahaha I absolutely KNEW this was going to your reaction to those huge-ass 5s gems. I had to bite my tongue so hard the other day when commenting on the video where you said you loved translucent and glittery components so as not to spoil this moment for you :D Also also... you revealing that you used to be a mermaid in a show really doesn't compute for me somehow. Like, how does one manage to become a show mermaid, please do tell?
You got me there, the gems were such a fun surprise!! And as far as the mermaid thing goes, it was a volunteer position for an aquarium at the time. It involved wearing mermaid tails, swimming in the shark tank, and a lot of fun chatting with the Aquarium’s patrons!
love your reactions and enthusiasm when unboxing the game! :D and it is so pretty! and also, I would like to blame you for making me now wanting to get Dice Throne (or Unmatched, haven't decided which one yet!) haha. Btw, the video quality is so good, and is pleasing to the eyes! and your voice is soothing! any chance the intro music could be lower??
Awesome video! That is a gorgeous game. Also swimming as a mermaid with sharks is so cool, swimming with sharks is something on my bucket list (not as a mermaid though lol).
Looks interesting. Thanks. I too buy games for their punch boards. The more the better! The more cards to sleeve the better! A healthy addiction to have though 😅😅
As a side note, be good if you could tell us a bit more about the game whilst unboxing, might help peak people's interest as well as seeing what's in the box. Also, you should do more game reviews, regardless of how old the game is. You have passion for games which shines through in your videos.
I think I have said it to you before I am also a sucker for crystals or gems in a game. I also got a copy Ark Nova yesterday for a great price because sadly one of our favorite local game stores is going out of business 😢
They are just fulfilling shipment for their kickstarter right now. I'm not sure when they're planning on moving to retail, but hopefully it will be soon!
Beautiful game! I wish I backed it when I had the chance! Do you sleeve cards in your games? I've got hundreds of different sized sleeves on their way to me now to sleeve a few new games in my collection before I play them 😅 Also, I like the addition of the close-ups of smaller and detailed pieces. Great idea 🤘🏽
I try to sleeve my games, but it's hard to find the time to get around to it. At this point I could probably clear out a game store with all the sleeves I need
The game is absolutely gorgeous, but I have yet to play it since the rulebook has a few issues. They are running another campaign here in a few months to clarify the rulebook and add some more expansions and I'm waiting until then! :)
A play through/review of this would be awesome! It looks amazing!
Hi! Never heard of this one. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for sharing! Have a great day!
🤩🤩 you should do a short playthrough/review!

✔️Looks good on the shelf

Yes and yes to both of those!

Sorry about that on the intro music, I've been trying to test out the volume to see what works best. :)

Haha you should do it sometime! It's a really cool experience!

Sad about the store closing, but glad to know I'm not the only one who buys games for their aesthetic appeal!
It looks amazing! Where can I get me one? 🥺 I can’t seem to find it on Amazon

Just saw that they have a few for sale on Knight & Day Games!
