Today I am sharing all kinds of goodies from a recent AMAZON and IKEA HAUL! Looking over all these fun new homeschool supplies and resources has got me all excited to dive in! Homeschooling 2021-2022...here we come!
In today's video you can expect to see a few homeschool resources and supplies that I plan on using in the upcoming year. Some from Amazon and some from IKEA. I am also sharing a few items for organizing our homeschool as well as supplies, books and a few fun things wrapped in!
This video is meant to offer encouragement and excitement as we all prepare for what's to come in the 2021-2022 homeschool year! Supplies are rolling in, books are arriving, plans are being made and curriculum is being all finalized! I don't know a bout yuo but this gets me all giddy, EVERY TIME and with each new homeschool year!

Look into a Berkey Filter too! We LOVE ours and have had it for severs years! You can even get fluoride filters. Yes! We can put pond sludge in ours too! I like it because you can filter multiple gallons so if you’re making soup or something you have a ton of water filtered on hand.
We love our Berkey as well! We live in Idaho with fields surrounding our house. This filter give us peace of mind when we drink from our well. Highly recommend🥰

I love the magazine holders! I organized our unit studies in them and it’s nice relieve the bookshelf of so many books
Oh my goodness I so hear you!! So much in common!! I also see a naturopath doc I was treated for Lyme & many other things. Love the school supplies & books too. I homeschool my two boys as well & homeschooled my oldest daughter a well. Great video!! 🥰
The IKEA marker are amazing! My girls use them almost every day and we've had them for months and months. We also use the paint and we've been happy with that too!

You look all nice and relaxed(not that you don't always look nice) you can tell its summer.
I 100% support filters we lived close to a potato farm and had well water and you would be surprised how many toxins end up in our system.

I love the window idea. We love doing art in our homeschool. I love telling my kids to paint something related to wat we a learning about. I haven’t thought of using magazine racks for organising homeschool stuff. We need to organise our homeschool stuff better. I love saying the words “own ur behaviour“ my kids love it as they kno we are all going to own our behaviour, something wen they went to school they didn’t see. I’m on a natural health journey and my kids are fed up with it.
Love the simplicity of your channel and the less is more message. Absolutely loved your talk at GR convention thought it was wonderful and so thankful you got me on board with GR! Love these homeschool haul videos and entering into our 8th year of homeschooling feel so comfortable having an eclectic curriculum and finally feel that flexibility. Keep all the recommendations coming and love the simple yet intentional mindset to all the things!

Yes!! I used those same binders for my daughters gather round schoolwork! love how they are so reusable and easy to put together!!
The Ikea supplies are great quality. We always have their paint on hand. I love those folders. I wish they were cheaper here. Thanks for sharing!

I love the flex binder! We use it for a few text books that have been used to literal pieces. 😅 They are great for books that aren't spiral bound. THANK YOU FOR THE BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS! I have loved all the books you have recommended. Just started Present over Perfect and my oh my heart! 💕💕

We switched to Evan Moore spelling this upcoming year as well.
Yes dry erase on windows is so much fun for them as well. We like to use chalk on the trampoline as well for spelling practice. Def changing it up makes them learn it so much better

Yes! We have the birds one and it’s so fun!
IKEA is my favorite student paint brushes for water color. They are too soft for acrylic but I love them for watercolor. Their paints aren't great though, but if they are just messing around they are fine.
We love Professor Noggin in our homeschool too! I’m usually able to get them for a few dollars less than Amazon on Rainbow Resource! Just a tip so you can look into building your collection a little faster! We love the dinosaur set and the outer space set is amazing too😊

@@SimplyLivingIt have you looked on eBay? For books and supplies that are more expensive I always go look for new or used materials. Sometimes I can’t find a deal but more times than not I can get them at a fraction of the cost. It’s just something I always check first. If you aren’t already you might want to check it out. Thank you for all your suggestions! I’ve gotten so much from you! I’d love it if you would show how a typical homeschool day goes in your home. Like get up time? Eat? Chores? Start school at what time? Scheduling is more what I’m looking for.

Filtering water is foundational for good health💕 I have a son with "water diabetes" so we take water very seriously. He has drank over a gallon a day his entire life. One thing I learned with my dental background is that bottled water is NOT a good alternative as it can be acidic. We are also Berkey lovers!
We went to mechanical pencils a few years ago, the pack you showed, Costco sells. I believe $6.99 on sale. 😉
I’ve been seeing a naturopath and functional medicine doctor for my sudden autoimmune stuff. Good for you it’s the way to go to really get to the root of our health issues! I have been finding there are many spiritual roots as well. This book is really good “Exposing the Spiritual Roots of Disease by Dr. Henry Wright” I highly recommend! Thanks for your video there’s a few things I’m going to get! 😍
Would love a video about this chain of events that led you to know you have too much round up in your system, and how you’re dealing with it. And not just round up…like your last year of discovering what’s up with your body and what you’re doing to help it.
Also a Berkey user and we love it. Our kids drink so much more water since getting the berkey.

We love the Lightkeepers series! We went through several of the boys books over the last couple years as part of our morning time. Also love your mama book picks. I need to look into that Mama Bear Apologetics book. More important now than ever to teach our kids to defend their faith!!

I also create storms.....I'm trying to homeschool my granddaughter.pray I do her justice...God is so good and the world is so evil sometimes...I'm praying I can help her learn faith and freedom and how we have both and she is so smart I hope I can do for her what God would want
The ikea colored pencils are great. My kids love them my 6 year old won't use anything else

We have those lighthouse books. They have been read so much by my boys. Tried to do read aloud with it, but they grabbed them out of my hands and devoured them.

This is how I use them note binders I love them
Rainbow resources has the best prices on Professor Noggins games a lot of the time. Most will run 7.99 when they are on sale.
We do an art cart. (I bought from Michaels) I put everything on there that they can use. It has changed their time of doing art. If you dont want them to use actual paint I recommend paint sticks. Obviously you can control the paint but on the cart we use the sticks.

Thank you for sharing! So helpful. I use the Five Star Binders for "bounding" our scient units and other units that come unbound. And use them for my boys science and history journals. Now, I'm going to be selfish and also ask where you got your pillow on your couch, and your tank top? Both so lovely and simple!
We started supply shopping and refilling our art kits,for sure need to get those bubble paints for my girls we go through so many markers,crayons and colored pencil. Paint and notebooks are also big in our house lol since we don’t get backpacks they splurge on notebooks.

I would love those professor Noggin cards! They are going on my wishlist right now. I recently purchased a similar water pitcher/filter system and love it. I like yours,, because it's so much bigger though. Have you gotten showerhead filters as well? It's crazy how much stuff gets into our body that doesn't need to. I'm glad you are on the road to better health. I have 3 boys as well, and your channel has been such an encouragement to how I homeschool.

Can I ask how your naturopath was able to test for the round up in your body? We also see a holistic doc and I wonder if he could test us for that as well. We live in the country with lots of farm land all around, I’d imagine we’ve got the same thing going on. Thanks for sharing!

I want to know, too!! I've been on a journey for what seems like forever...5 years and counting. I've never been checked for roundup - but my husband farms and we are surrounded by acres of corn, beans and wheat. And as I'm typing, a heli-sprayer flew over spraying some of our fields near our house. :0 We have our own well, and I drink a gallon of water a day, too, so I'd be curious! I've put my hashimoto's in remission just this summer, so baby steps, but feel I'm still missing a piece of my puzzle. Will you ever do a video of your health journey??

Look into the Berkey water filter! I have the extra fluoride filters on mine as well. They have a travel survival bottle as well.
What kind of test does your naturopathic doctor use ? All my neighbors get there’s yards treated. I can’t stand it! We also go to a homeopathic chiropractor.
