Welcome friends! Thank you for watching today! I have a big homeschool room reveal coming very soon sharing the FINAL transformation! I'd love for you to click that subscribe button and stick around! ❤ Have a great day!
Thank you for showing this! I have to do this every year and it is encouraging to see another mom sort and think through the choices both for now and the upcoming year.... you have blessed me each time I have watched your videos, thank you for your decision to stay focused on what you are called to do with your family.
There is something so satisfying about organizing the bookshelves. I just did our and I feel excited to prep for the new school year. Love this, of course 💜
We don’t use a homeschool room either... funny thing, I had a homeschool room. We used it for a couple of weeks then migrated back to the dining table 🤣
I loved you show your dust! Lol This is so my homeschool space currently. I purged all the obvious junk but I have to take another day to organize and thin out resources.
I need to declutter my homeschool space and I am in the process of finding the courage to do this lol loved watching mama... you gave me some motivation vibes hahaha 🤭❤
Hello! I’m from the Gather Around convention! And I just happen to also be de cluttering and organizing our homeschool space as we start our first year using Gather Around. So of course I had to watch and get some inspiration. 💖
We deffo need to organise our homeschool spaces. The bottom of the art cart looks like my daughter’s homeschool storage area. I don’t u understand that way of organising but I’ve always tried to be organised. We have the pencil issue as well even though my kids have their own pencil cases. My son’s curriculum storage is mega crazy but he’s kept all his old books. As a kid we had to homeschool in a limited spaces and I have awesome memories of homeschooling in those seasons. The art work is relatable!!!
Thanks for the motivation! I'm really needing to declutter and organize our homeschool space. I know there's so much I can throw out or give away. I'll probably find things I forgot about, just like you did.
Got mine cleaned out and packed away. The new stuff is in their crates. My husband took Walmart crates added a piece of plywood and then added wheels for each child and then one for me. They can be rolled to wherever is needed.
You don't need a special room to homeschool! Say it louder for the people in the back! 👏👏 Our world right now is so caught up in Pinterest/Instagram life, that we forget what is important. If your heart is in homeschool, the rest will follow. 💕💕
YES👏YES👏YES!!!!!!! AMEN, MAMA! This could encompass our homes/living spaces as well. Seeking perfection SO MUCH (the magazine cover life...right?!) that everything else is lost in the middle of it all. 💕🤗
After homeschooling for 7 years in two different houses without a homeschool room, I was so excited when we finally bought a house with a room we could use just for homeschooling. Well, that room is now just used to store all of the books and supplies we aren't using. Turns out using the dining room table and living room is just more natural for us.
Amen!!!! We homeschool in our dining room area too:). And kids end up on couch, floor, at the kitchen bar to do school…love it!!!💛. Just graduated our first homeschooler this year & have 5 more to go😁❤️. Praising the Lord we did it!!!!!! I’m thinking about doing a video about how did we get here or posting on fb but not sure yet. I just wish I would’ve listened to my homeschool mama friends that said “quit stressing and breathe” more when my kids were smaller with homeschooling. You WILL graduate your kiddos! It will work out;). God is good!!!!! My graduate isn’t a math whiz however he’s amazing at SO many things! God bless you mamas! Love this video too;) real life! Real homeschool books & organization that we all have to deal with each year:). Blessings, Shannon
Amen! I homeschool mainly on our couch and dining room table. We have a corner area for books/supplies. I think I would be scared to give my books/supply area more freedom to grow!!!! So, I am glad we have a small corner to keep it all in.
You mentioned finding a bunch of the boys favorite books that you were excited to read again. Can you share what they are? Looking for some fun new books to read along with my boys.
I just cleaned our space out 2 weeks ago. We live in an RV and it still took all day!! How did we aquire so much in one year!? Lol 😂 but it felt so good to get cleaned out!
Looking great, mama! I have yet to tackle cleaning up and re-organizing our space… 😬 I’ve been wanting to get one of those carts to keep our stuff on that we are actively using day to day!
We moved a month ago and FINALLY got things unpacked over this 4 day weekend. I'm so exhausted! When the kids go to VBS later this month I'll take it as my mom/teacher planning time. Thank God for VBS.
Working on this today too! We do have a separate school room which can almost be worse because there’s more space to keep things so it’s easy to hold onto stuff 😆
"Once you pull everything out they see what they have" so much yes lol this happens whenever I go through anything in the house. Homeschool stuff, their bedroom, storage etc. 🤣🤣
We didn’t have a homeschool room for the first 4 years and this last year we have and I 100% agree u don’t need a homeschool room. We homeschooled our 1st 2 years out of a large bag and then the next 2 years in dining room with similar set up as u have. Now we have a classroom in our new home. We love it so much but we do still go to the living room or table. We don’t feel conformed to our classroom.
I’m only a couple minutes in and I just have to say THANK YOU for sharing real life. The chaos of homeschool supplies is a struggle… and not Pinterest perfect.
Awww, you are so welcome!!! ❤ I will always share real life, mama. It is SO important to me. We don't need any more ideas or visuals of perfection shoved in our faces...right?! I am right here with you in the messy but beautiful journey of motherhood and homeschooling! ❤
I honestly don't keep much! Mostly items that can be used again with my younger kids. Paper clutter goes and finished curriculum goes. I hold on to keepsakes! Special papers, those that I know have sentimental value to me or the boys! Things (including curriculum & resources) that can be reused, stay! The rest has to go! ❤
Hey there! Happy homeschooling, mama! I'm so glad you're here! So, for us...morning box/basket is just a term we use when referencing the items we use together before beginning our individual subjects. For instance: Bible, read alouds, flashcards, history....just anything that you group together and do as a family! Each mama does it differently but that's how we do it! 💕
Welcome friends! Thank you for watching today! I have a big homeschool room reveal coming very soon sharing the FINAL transformation!

Have a great day!
What is required in your state?
THANK YOU! I like seeing shelves that aren't perfectly color coded and aren't perfect and just real life and not staged.

Aw, thank you soooooo much! 💕❤💕

I just bought the beautiful feet character studies and I am so excited to use it for our school year.
That's so awesome! 😍
Hi! New here. Homeschooling mama of 5, ages 2-16! Love this channel already, you are so encouraging!
I'm so happy you're here! Welcome, mama!
We don’t use a homeschool room either... funny thing, I had a homeschool room. We used it for a couple of weeks then migrated back to the dining table 🤣
this is totally us. Lol!
Girl, my homeschool space will take me a week 🤣
😂🤣
“A bin with a candle and a chain” 🤣 I’m so glad I’m not the only one with randomness!
Same😂
I loved you show your dust! Lol This is so my homeschool space currently. I purged all the obvious junk but I have to take another day to organize and thin out resources.
Got my decluttering done! Organizing 5K curriculum and doing summer bridge work with my son 2x a week. He learned to read in April 😁
I need to declutter my homeschool space and I am in the process of finding the courage to do this lol loved watching mama... you gave me some motivation vibes hahaha 🤭❤
Well girl, I'm glad I could help motivate you! It's so hard to get going but...so great when done! 😍 YOU GOT THIS, GIRL! 🔥👏

Thank you for sharing Jamie, don’t you just love decluttering!!😁🤓🙌
YES! Not during the process...but after! 😂🤣😂
@@SimplyLivingIt Haha I know what you mean.😆👌
Love your honesty and real ness. It so refreshing.
💕 Always, mama!💕
We homeschool in our dining room, too. It works. It just gives me a chance to get very creative with how I store and display things!😊
That is so true!!! 😍
Thanks for the motivation! I'm really needing to declutter and organize our homeschool space. I know there's so much I can throw out or give away. I'll probably find things I forgot about, just like you did.
Love the shelving unit
Thank you! The extra storage was so needed. We are very limited when it comes to that in our home. 😃 Is there ever really enough storage space?! 🤔😂
Got mine cleaned out and packed away. The new stuff is in their crates. My husband took Walmart crates added a piece of plywood and then added wheels for each child and then one for me. They can be rolled to wherever is needed.
That is AWESOME!!! I love that idea! Thanks for sharing, friend!💕

Lisa, that's so great to hear and encouraging for me, right where we are at! ❤

I'd love to share! Maybe in an upcoming video! 💕
Can you share the titles of some of the good books you found on your shelves?!
Yes!!!
We have a homeschool room and we still end up in the dining or living room. 😄
Hahah! I hear that SO much!!!!😃 School happens everywhere, right?! 😍
I just cleaned our space out 2 weeks ago. We live in an RV and it still took all day!! How did we aquire so much in one year!? Lol 😂 but it felt so good to get cleaned out!
Plum print I've been eyeing this company. you send them kids artwork and they turn it into a book.
Oh really?! I'll have to check it out! 😃
It's pricey I'm still trying to find a company that can do it cheaper 😂
Looking great, mama! I have yet to tackle cleaning up and re-organizing our space… 😬 I’ve been wanting to get one of those carts to keep our stuff on that we are actively using day to day!
Thanks friend!😃 I sure do love having our cart. It was much needed! 😍

Oh that sounds like a great idea and the perfect time to get things in order!!! Congratulations on the move, friend! ❤

Oh you are SO RIGHT!!!!!!!😂
I saw you had some not consumed Bible studies. How did you like them?
I am LOVING them so much!

Hey there! What camera do you have for your vlogs? It is such a clear, great video! Thanks so much!
Hey there! I use the Sony ZV1😊
We love homeschooling in our living room or on our dining table.
9 years in you are proof you the room isn't necessary
YES! We do too, friend! ❤
I planned on doing this today but so far I have done nothing…lol gotta step it up.
Hey, you'll get there girl! I waited til I couldn't handle it any longer and BAM! Hahaha! I work best under pressure! Lol!
What are your boys names? I swear you said Eleven.
What completed school stuff do you keep?
I honestly don't keep much! Mostly items that can be used again with my younger kids. Paper clutter goes and finished curriculum goes. I hold on to keepsakes! Special papers, those that I know have sentimental value to me or the boys! Things (including curriculum & resources) that can be reused, stay! The rest has to go! ❤
I am new to homeschooling this is going to be my second year (first full year) could you tell me what a morning box is?
