Ah yes. Men in kilts. Always a pleasure 😊 My grandfather on my dad's side was born in Scotland so I'm only a second generation American, my dad was born here. I'm so thankful that I know my clan heritage and have our tartan. 🏴

Ooo! Nothing like a good Scottish Festival! You looked wonderful & I agree with everyone else that thinks your multi hair color looks fantastic! My daughter is Clan MacKenzie heritage, and she did that Scottish Highland Dancing when she was young. Some more of these festivals will occur in the Summer, so maybe we’ll go! Im so surprised there are so few people! I live in the Appalachia area and there would be a huge crowd. Mostly Scots, Irish and Welsh here. Gilbert is beautiful! Some of my family live there, way before it was so populated..

I love the Scottish festivals!!! Best one was in Long Beach around The Queen Mary. A band called Wicked Tinkers played on the boat itself. They were 4 guys playing drums and pipes but they were so good!!! Everyone was dancing. A lot of the games are boring but the booths are fun!❤I'm half Scottish half Irish.😂❤ I'm new to your channel!🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸

Your filming and editing skills have really grown a lot! In that parade, those women in the front row of the drums spinning their drumsticks or whatever they are called, looked amazing. The drums were cool, but man I hate the sound of bagpipes! I'm part scotch and a music lover, but that's a long stretch to liking that sound! It's cool that you do fun stuff and really live your life out there, not only just surviving.

I am Dutch and Irish, I have often thought that one of these days, I would love to do a DNA test for ancestry. Who knows, maybe we could be related. If not by blood, then maybe by spirit. Hello, just getting back to you with my promise of a Scottish music playlist. I had nothing on my channel but today created a playlist of great stuff. As I said, it will grow, so if you look back in occasionally you may find additions. I've been meaning to start one for a while and your video here just reminded me.

Some of the music I list is hundreds of years old but played so well by these bands.
If you'd like to buy a cd or download of very very old music done well I'd recommend the special album by Capercaillie called, Glenfinnan - Songs of the 45. Well actually you can find it as a playlist in of itself on UA-cam for free, but if you want to own it and on full quality, its a good one to buy. See the problem is often that only a few things on an album are good and other may irritate. A lot of albums of Scottish music are like that, especially the compilations. But I like that album a lot and recommend it to people.
For a movie, well we all know Braveheart. But did you know around the same time a much better film came out called Rob Roy. The actors in it are fantastic and the dialogue sometimes is like a cult movie by Tarantino, all so stylish, memorable and often funny. It also has the best sword fight in cinema history ! The scenery is beautiful and the music fantastic ( actually Capercaillie feature in it a lot ). I hope the Bluray of Rob Roy is still available to buy. You can check where it streams or downloads from by doing a search on www.justwatch.com which is a useful site to bookmark for future use anyway.
