This song is surprisingly great for road trips
Not bad to relapse to either. Revolutionary band. Much like the usa's version of UK band Suede. Both meld beauty and sadness in some otherworldly alchemy.

I've always loved Jerry and Layne's harmonies!
The seriously rival the Beach Boys in that regard. But Jerrys guitar is closer to Tony Iommi.

It's such an original unique sound that's mind blowing!! A grunge band that can harmonize. Even better, You can jam out to Layne Staley on one song then play a different track and jerry Cantrell is lead vocalist!! I can't begin to describe how underrated Alice in Chains truly is!!

I'm 53, and think this was some of best music ever produced. Very talented musicians came from that part of the country. Like all generations and decades, this was a unique sound of the time.

Xipe Totek Cantrell was always the creative force behind AiC. Layne was a great singer, but the sound was all Jerry.
This fucking album just destroyed the value of these songs by overdubbing tons of vocals etc. Proof= unplugged versions being far far better.
