I learned to appreciate drumming a bit a few years ago and Mr. Kinney is one that I keep coming back to for his brilliance. It's easy to get overlooked in the presence of the amazing guitar work and vocals in the same band, but his drumming is always worth attention.

Can Jerry Cantrell do any wrong as a guitar player I don't think so. Most people after they release a few albums their music starts going down hill. AICs music gets better I guess these guys age like fine wine

In fact, Never Fade of this same album, Layne and Chris were an inspiration on that song for Jerry. I guess it was dedicated to them and both of them never were and never will be forgotten by AIC. AIC wouldn't continue to exist after Layne's death if it weren't for Jerry. Jerry is the mastermind, songwriter and the lead vocalist, the voice of the actual AIC is Jerry, not William. William is not lead. William does a great job together with Jerry, but Layne is Layne. William is not a replacement
