I like they are trying to portray muslims respectly in this show. But they can't even let the "Muslim" in this show wear her hijab properly? No offense thats not even a hijab. People thinks its trendy to wear it like that. Or the idea comes from just covering the hair. But wearing hijab, youre supposed to be covering your hair, neck(Front &back). So basically your whole head. And chest as well especially if your breasts are huge To avoid attention. And yes not any clump or strand of hair is to be in sight. This show just throws in a muslim covering up her hair with her "hijab" with hair still sticking out of it. Man.. What an eyesore I like their idea of including Muslims in the show but the least they could do is do some research🤦🏻♂ That is NOT how you wear a hijab People will definitely call me triggered but if something like this happens in your religion, wouldn't you voice it out? I know its just a show and she's not a real muslim but its like showing other muslims that this is the correct way to wear it, like as if the way you wear if doesnt matter. If they're not going to let her wear it properly might as well take it off. What an awful portrayal. Its like they want to show people they are woke by including Muslims and LGBTQ in their show but not doing it right. The muslim part.
And that they all faced/looked away from her, to minimize the time she would be seen. Even as a non-Muslim woman, I really appreciated that the writers incorporated that respect to Marjan and her faith.
