She did take a good look over the balcony to see if there was something to catch her before jumping

The quote of open window and leap of faith was just just absolutely genius. The script is just absolutely flawless.
Plus prior to that about the door closing, they were talking about to use the door but the call interrupted by the man. Then she also see the police flashing lights when she was told about the leap. Talking about hints 👌

no it didn't. There was a real life call (in fact probably many) about calling 911 for a pizza, but there was no gun or bloody crash mat... Nor did the aggressor ask the victime to order a bloody pizza. This whole thing is pretty offensive to the real victim

@@PunkinRB The Fire Dept arrived to get set up before the couple was aware. That's how great a job Grace did on the call. She stalled enough time with both parties so the first responders were all ready to go. Grace is brillant at her job!! The cops couldn't get to her because of the situation. They wanted to get her out to prevent a murder suicide. Watch the clip or the season to get caught up. #Thankmelater

umm no it's not. the only true part is that America has a 911 emergency call number. The rest is BS, and some of it is completely beyond possible or realistic.

Dispatchers need as much information as possible. Also to ensure safety for the caller. Yeah it’s annoying in real life and in movies 😂 but that helps them, the caller, and the officers going to the scene.

This is actually how they are. I’ve been in situations when I called 911 and they always keep it soooo much longer than you’d want
The questions were all necessary. If she didnt continue to pry, the woman would have most likely lost her life. Her stalling with the questions gave them enough time to set up a bag outside for her to jump on. Remember, he had a gun on the table.
My dumbass was like: “If god closes one door... I said a new one opens.” And I deadass thought I was trippin’ when she said “a new window opens”😭😭only to find out that she meant to jump out of the window😭😭
That IS the original quote. The dispatcher changed it in that moment because she knew the woman would be listening to every word for code.

I remember reading about a woman held hostage who called 911 pretending to order pizza. The responder instantly figured out something was wrong and she sent police to her location. Turns out she was being held hostage and abused for a long time. It seems like a stretch to do this but you never know it might work and I hope to god it does for anyone who is in trouble.
