"Atomic Punk" is just mind blowing here....✌✌👊👊
Untouchables, in those years VH blowed away every band in the world .
I was there.
How did Sabbath follow this on a regular schedule!!! Wow! The sound of the Future! They Just blew the sky opened!!! Whoa!!
The best live band ever……..!!!! VH!!!!
The Van Halen sound always reminded me of Jungle Book.
what did Van Hagar remind you of?
@@mrwilliamwonder Commercial arena rock
You gotta remember Van Halen was a unknown opening band. Henry Rollins does a routine and sums up VH in 77/78 perfectly. DLR is strutting around like he owns the crowd while EVH blazes up and down the guitar and then stops like "Dam, I sound good.." Any other opener would have been bottled but instead the crowds were blown away. Sabbath followed this...
.....fucking hell, who's that band???? Black Sabbath stood NO CHANCE.
The whole band are ON FIRE... *pun intended.*
Van halen is head and shoulders above zepplin.just dont compare.lol
Only real fans know how long Van Halen paid their dues playing parties, keg parties, barmitzfers for Christ sake & then being the house band at the whiskey for years before Gene put up the cash for a demo that was FINALLY heard by Warner Bros & they broke. But it took friggin years. But when they broke they already had that rock star gene in em. The singer for Motley Crue copied Dave's whole stage look, clothes & persona. As did countless other front men & copying Eddie got to be second nature. They say immitation is the ultimate flattery. I'd say the only guitarist who came close to Ed were Randy, Richie Blackmore, Gary Moore, etc ..... that's it. I really feel bad for Sabbath who were the headliners on this tour. They had to have been damn these Yanks are good !
