I remember this fell right on my 50th birthday which was May 3, 2010. I had planned to book a tour on the General Jackson which did not happen. That Sat May1st I was at Opry Mills and hurried home due to tornado warnings. I did not even think about floods. The next day I turned on the TV and OpryMills and RainForest cafe where I had been the day before was completely underwater. Unbelievable.
I remember it not so vividly though I was only 8 or 9 and in the second grade at the time my mom and I got the alert and ran out to the grocery store as quickly as possible.
I find it interesting that a lot of the comments on this video from the last 1 or 2 days seem to think that this video is from the 2021 flood. Dont think 2021 flood was this bad, but pretty dang close.
