- This Fisher & Paykel smart drive washing machine is history! This was one of the first productions since 1991 to 1993 before phase 2 came out in 1993 to 1995. This model is the GW700B-K version! These models are extremely rare to come across and I was lucky enough to have one of my own! 🙂
Awesome washer! It's nice to see a video of this generation of washer again. It did pretty well for the size of the load too. Great video, and interested to see more from you in the future.
Yip i will be uploading more later in the year, but the next one i will be uploading is my phase 2 machine i mentioned to you about earlier. 😁😁
Wow, this machine is very interesting to me. It didn't stay at 330RPM very long before accelerating to 1100RPM! I also noticed that acceleration is much faster on these early machines, whereas with the later models it's drawn out upto 2 minutes. Thanks for the video of this machine, Luke!
Thanks so much for posting videos please keep it up and the water valve sounds like it’s on it’s way out and the beeping on this machine sounds different than the phase 2
The beeping is normal, also the water valves they aren't really on the way out, it's just low pressure hot water system!!
@@lukekneebone9831 I know that it is normal I’m just telling you that it more sounds like on the Gentle Annie
@@lukekneebone9831 to disable the lid switch remove the lid, and then you should see a mechanical button (that’s the lid switch) get some electrical tape, and tape the button in and then you should be able to do full cycles with the lid open
Can you disable the lid switch and show us all the washers you have and do full cycles on all of them and record videos of your repairing them please and keep up the work and post more and reinstate any deleted videos?
My work had a Fisher and Paykel Pride 7.5 donated today, we’ve tested it and it’s in perfect working order, just shows you how long Fisher and Paykel washing machines go for
My aunt purchased a "Fresh 5.0" in the late 90's. It lasted her 16 years without any maintenance at all. I hope they are still as good now that Haier own Fisher and Paykel.
The toploaders are still good, there pretty much the same. I’m not sure about anything else tho
Can you please do a full cycle on regular?
Why does this one look more modern than the phase 2 and 3?
Update, this machine no longer works!!
what is the problem with it?
@@ryderearlesroblox8620 It no longer turns on anymore and cos of it been a phase 1, modules are impossible to obtain now!!
@@lukekneebone9831 so when did that happen?
@@ryderearlesroblox8620 Happened back in May when he bought it out of storage for me to use.
