I love that you're showing both ways! I have a very narrow face when I'm not smiling and the fuller look is for me. I look even more narrow and gaunt with the high up chiseled contour and blush placement. When I see people teaching to only do it the one way that's chiseled and slimming, it's frustrating to see because not everyone has a round face that they want to slim.
I feel the same way! My face is very narrow so I’m not trying to make it look even more so! A fuller look appears more youthful on me as well and as I’m in my mid 30’s that’s what I want lol
This was so important for me to see. Especially now that I am giving internet classes, and people with fuller faces look better on camera. I have a narrow face, big eyes, dark brows, and high cheekbones. The last thing I need is more of that, I would look scary. For me fuller is better, but nobody ever told me how.
I used to do the chiseled look but with age I've lost volume in my cheeks so I do the fuller look now. I didn't even realise I was doing this subconsciously. Great video! So helpful and to the point.
FINALLY, a NORMAL makeup tutorial that doesn't want you to make weird dark brown lines all over your face in the name of contour, or put some weird "baking powder" or whatever all over your face- these products in the vid are the type of thing a light, not-everyday-but-sometimes makeup user like me has around anyway. Just the basics. I'm in!!👏💯✨
Thank you so much! I’ve always done the “fuller” look, when I’ve actually been trying to have a more chiseled look. I’m excited to do my makeup next and try this out :) You’re very talented
Very useful demonstration. I like the chiseled side because I have a full round face already! This shows neatly how to place the blusher and I've been doing it all wrong. Thankyou.
I have started following you recently and i am in love with your skills. Nobody actually talks about how to make your face look fuller and i am glad you did💕
Yes please! I’ve been trying to do the setting technique after applying concealer but my smile lines still tend to show through more than I would like lol
Your explanations are so easy to follow! Your application techniques are so clean and less "fussy!" I also use the same Wet n Wild brush to apply my blush!❤️
Great video! I know you stated your face is pretty symmetrical but your left side appears fuller looking on camera prior to you showing the makeup looks. Both looks are lovely. The chiseled look gives a more sophisticated appearance while the fuller look gives a more youthful appearance. Thanks for showing both options and giving us versatility.
Hi Smitha! I wanted to give a shout out to one of your previous videos, the one with the quick three-color eyeshadow blend using the sponge-tip applicator. I woke up late and had to rush to get ready. Using that swipe-&-blend technique saved me so much time OMG! It's the first time I've experienced a real-life benefit from a makeup tutorial, so thank you ❣️
Thanks for showing how to apply the bronzer and highlight with this blush method. I've been using the sculpting blush have been struggling with placing the bronzer.
the best video i've found. you actually show both ways and where to place and why. i've watched tons of videos and i couldn't understand it. new follower here. thank you so much for these tutorials. i'm a beginner at make up and want to do well with it.
