A lot of people ask if I’m from Alabama! Just Appalachian Ohio! It’s definitely a mix isn’t it!

I worked with some Awesome people from SE Ohio for 20 years and definitely picked up their accent. My family still keeps in touch with them when we visit for The Fourth of July every year for Thunder in the Valley fireworks!
@@AMuncieChannel that’s cool.I know my southern accent comes out in spurts.One time I was up in Wisconsin at a restaurant and a lady just had to ask me where I’m from.I told her Georgia and she said I knew it was from down there.When I moved to southern Indiana I kind of fit right in as a lot of folks still have that draw here.
People just assume I’m from the south. It was always “Are you from Alabama or near there?” You’re probably starting to pick up a Northern accent. Happy Birthday by the way!
