I find multiplayer games are hit and miss. Some games are laggy, others run smoothly throughout. This isn't just an issue in Crusader 2 however, all entries in the series are prone to online crashes and lag. Hopefully Firefly will integrate smoother multiplayer with their next entry Stronghold Unreal. Thanks for sharing 🙂

The 3d graphics looked better than stronghold 2 once you turned the bloom off. Still not the same as the early isometric. That aside; Pros: - Separate stockpile - Autosell and keep market - Horse archers are balanced - Units have passive abilities that change their performance - Better eco/food building chains - Oil pot throwers are a good bit more useful than crusader 1 fire throwers Cons; - Bugs: assassins pause for a long time between movements, oil tippers cant station on walls right, fire ballista's deal crazy damage in attack ground mode, war dogs dont attack enemies, etc) - War wagons are more oppressive than OG horse archers - Elevation damage reduction and evasion seems to be removed - Crossbows are even more broken - with all the changes, they kill all other ranged units too easily. Nothing other than crossbows is viable on a wall, or attacking it. - Siege towers too weak to ranged damage. - Towers in general are just useless for how fragile the are. - Fire damage seems weaker -> knights take forever to die. - Knights make all other crusader units pointless with the 94% ranged damage reduction. Whirling dervishers make all other arab units pointless with charge and aoe that kills everything - New religion system is boring - No fear factor is also boring. I did like it more than cursader 1 early on but it gets boring pretty fast when every game is a race to monocomp xbow/warwagon/knights.
Great breakdown of the pros and cons. I quite like the graphics, just feel they lack the grittiness of the original games. The game certainly isn't perfect, just my go to for skirmish games and in the video I explain why I believe that to be the case. Thanks for sharing 👍
