Can't boosted stake on Fluidtokens be utilized to leverage voting on catalyst?
Just borrow everything in the contract and vote for the smart token development to help bring usdc to Cardano.
At first I didn't want usdc in Cardano but I think it will bring much needed liquidity. And with the increase of usdm tvl I don't have to use usdc. I should get the best of both worlds. Having options is good.
Let's go Cardano peeps. Or will you vote your way to Cardano dropping down to a 30 to 50 rank coin. Once you start falling down it becomes more difficult to get back to top 5.

For everyone worried about "freezing of funds" and "decentralization", you literally have a choice not to use a smart token. But it makes no sense to vote against new tech that can potentially help cardano grow and have use cases in rwas and nfts...
Its better to have it and choose not to use it than to just go against it. You never know what opportunities it may bring.

The first moment they said "programmable token", CBDCs immediately came to my mind. Then they go to the point: "They need to be able to freeze it". That's all I needed to know to vote against this. Thanks
Dude just dont use usdc then lol. Your sacrificing rwas, nfts, and so much more just because you don't like usdc...
The point is we can have options.
Circle may not even need it in the end. Or they may decide they want to use both programmable and non programmable tokens. We don't know. The point is that we have the tech there for them to implement their stable coin how they decide to. If they implement with programability, but the community doesn't use it, they make nuke it and convert to the non-programable. The choice needs to be there on the chain.
Tech is cool but pete you only got one more chance to pump your bags. Stop nerding out and pump the bags sir.

Yeh I don't like the idea of it either, but other RWAs in the future, like the tokenisation of precious metals will certainly need it. Stolen fractionalised gold, diamonds etc will not cut it in the financial space.
Wait, the word compliance popped up for USDC/USDT. How is it that USDM is compliant? This freezing stuff on Ethereum only occured because of it's flawed design.
There is a whole list of things that define USDM as a regulated stable coin on Cardano. Go watch all the interviews and read through the docs. There is so much to cover.

Yeh don't use the circle version of USDC if you don't want them to be able to freeze your assets.
ADA no progress whatsoever on this lame coin. $ADA much noise about nothing, the Vasil upgrade has brought nothing but nothing at all in terms of price and will also bring nothing to very little in terms of technology, ADA is hot air even in the future... get out of there fast!

It's ok guys, Jimmy has been a regular on my UA-cam and X feed for a long time. The little bit of negging I get from him always helps with views and engagement. Always needed to help boost the videos, especially on YT where the comments help drive the videos up to the top. Need more of it!
What’s stopping people like them from just coming up with some plan that sounds good in theory and just taking the catalyst money and doing nothing? They don’t seem very knowledgeable, I won’t be voting for
Catalyst pays in milestones, for large projects the payments are divided into 5 chunks and that is also paid in smaller percentages. e.g only 30% of milestone 1 is paid and no more is paid until the milestone is reached.
Does that make sense?
