FEMALE DOG IN HEAT (dog period) What to do and how to use Trixie protective pants/ doggie pants

Arya is on a period for 3 days now, normally last for a week or two or depends on the size or breed of dogs.
When to know if the dog is having a
period:
1.Notice a pinkish color of the urine
2.Private area (vulva of the dog) looks
swelling or protruding
3.Dog is not as active or as hyper as
normal
What to do:
1.Never let the dog out in yard alone
2.No off leash when walking the dog, to
protect from male dog or unwanted
pregnancy
3.Balance between exercise and rest,
some may feel tired all day
4.Important to keep your dog
comfortable
5.Spray a menthol or bitch spray around
the tail area or legs
6.Use protective pants or doggie pants
7.Change the pads as needed
8.Consult vet if noticed dog unwell
