My company tried to do this during the last major snowstorm we had that shut down the city. The only reason they shut down after was due to the city threatening to fine them for as long as they stayed open.

My only gripe with this scenario is the snowfall warning. It doesn't snow after once it gets that cold. What snow would fall at the early stages could absolutely accumulate in 5 ft drifts though with wind gusts that high, so that still tracks!
If I had to put a temp on when things get really bad in the northern US/Canada, its -44F/-42C. That's the temp at which propane turns to liquid, and all the farms and houses that have furnaces fuelled by an exterior propane tank shut down because there's no more propane gas, it's all a puddle of liquid propane at the bottom of the tank
In a way this nearly happened in 2021 because I remember in Febuary or January there was a bigg freeze with snow that snowed everyone in their homes and caused other problems
I wish I had the tech and time to make spooky things. Once made a drawing that could easily be turned into one of these. Out on an alien planet some scientists begin exploring an enormous ocean in a nuclear submarine, and deep down, over twice as far as the Mariana Trench, they find an enormous, eel-like creature, easily ten times the size of a blue whale. They’re horrified, as it’s jaws are wide open and it appears to be headed straight for them, so they brace for death. But death never comes. They soon realize the creature isn’t moving. It’s dead. They are ordered by higher ups to examine it for cause of death, so they head around it… And find the entire back half gone. Not just gone, bitten off, in seemingly one bite. This makes them realize there is something far scarier out there, with them. But you know what they say… There’s always a bigger fish.
we got a cold weather warning recently. it was btoadcast a few days in advance, so we didn't need the esa. i had to spend a few hours outside throwing snow around the base of my house. i feel sorry for these guys, esa warning means it hit them too fast to prep.
Temperatures will get down to -46 had me chuckling a little bit. We get that or close to every year. We're out hovelling walks in that temperature. 😂 (Don't get me wrong that's cold and unpleasant but as long as your not outside for too long you'll be fine.) Regardless still enjoyed this one and the rest of your vids!

Just one hint from a Winnipegger who has spent time in the Arctic: when it gets super cold it doesn't snow much. Cold air can't hold much moisture.
