I just bought the 2020 Outlander xmr 650 a few weeks ago. As a previous owner of an outlander 1000 xt, I can say that the 650’s power is more than enough to do whatever kind of riding you’re into. It only has 20 horses less than what I had before, and I honestly don’t even notice it. It also weighs about 144lbs less than the xmr 1000R. I’m very happy with my decision to opt for the 650.
Jimmy Zane exactly and really, you slap a cvtech trailbloc with a 1020 spring and 14 gram weights in there with a epi silver secondary spring. Itll have all the power you need to the ground!!

Lyndhurst XMRMY I plan to after the warranty runs it’s course. For now I think I’ll throw a Looney Tuned exhaust and a fuel tuner on and let it roll.
Just bought a 2020 can-am 650 camo for 11k
I have a CanAm 570 and it's a nice machine but it gets hot to sit on. Have you noticed this on the 650?
Its the way they are tuned, get a exhaust and custom tune to help. They are tuned lean from the factory due to the EPA.
Would it be a decent mud/trail bike with bigger tires, clutching, n slip on?
Yeah orovided you get a relocate and snorkels, soooo you may as well just get an xmr cause she gets hot and overheats fast if you mud

i was and look at that bike yesterday and i really like it (thats was a 2019 bike i was look on yesterday)
they're an awesome bike for introductions to ATV'ing because theres so much potential if accessorized and tuned to your eventual 'overconfidence' ;P
