Wolfed for a month (4 braids into bun) grew about 2 inches. Let hair breathe for a week and now I’m week 3 into a 2nd wolf. Once your lines start disappearing that’s your new growth pushing through.
Been “Meeking” for 3 years and 2 months. I usually keep my styles between for 4-5 weeks. I wash, condition, etc with my braids in. Just be careful when you all take out your styles. It’ll be worth it. The growth will be insane!!!

@@varnesb8546 . I keep it basic. Wash, deep condition(sometimes). Then that’s it. Throw some protein in your routine ever now and then, just to keep your hair strong. I don’t moisturize my hair throughout the week. I just wash my hair and that’s it. My hair is to the middle of my back. Avoid heat if you can. Always keep your hair stretched(a style) and take your time when taking it out.

I can confirm this works 100% I clearly remember when i wanted to get my first braids, it took me ages to be able to do them with fake hair.
But when i did, i kept my braids for a *very* long time and my hair grew hella fast !
So, we just need to get braid and then wait for long time to make hair grow faster?

I've been meeking for a while now. I keep my 4C hair in two strand twist. I twist my own hair. Been doing it for years now. I've been natural for 5 years now and my hair is half way down my back when its stretched out. The shrinkage gets me sometimes. I normally oil my hair every 3 to 4 days. I also switch up with just moisturizing my hair. I don't trim my ends unless I have to. I normally keep my twist in for 3 months. Its been working for me. Keep up the good work. I been meeking since Covid, my shit been growing, also what helps is taking a hot steamy shower when you got product in your hair it keeps it moisturize
Do you get your hair wet or you just let it steam? And would a shower cap help it better? I try not to let my hair get wet when I shower because I feel like it’ll make my braids loose.

Two three Jr I just let it steam and make sure I have some type of light product on my scalp

FIRST WEEK : Week went well. been using daily moisturizers and oils. the braids are getting frizzy but i think im doing a good job at maintaning them.I wanna try to keep them in for 3-4 weeks. reply to my comment if you have any advice for me! will be back to update next week
SECOND WEEK : Week went well, still have been using daily moustrizers and oils.One of my cornrows is starting to open up toward the middle. thinking about getting my braids redone saturday which should mark my meek process 2 and a half weeks. will try to go for a month when i get my next braids. gonna try to keep the ones in longer than saturday. but it all depends how i feel. I noticed that when I had box braids my hair grew even longer and faster by a couple of weeks I guess the hair oil is compress by the braids that keeps it moist for a long time once I took out my braids it was still moist from the braids that been compress.

Or just buy some styling gel or twist gel and apply to your hair and keep rolling/twisting you hair clockwise until it’s tight by the way start with the back of your head and work up and after that you are going to heat your hair with a blow dryer so it’ll stay in tact so all and all it’ll look like dreadlocks a.k.a. Locs

I did Meeking in middle school and kept the process going by getting the fresh braids and leaving leaving it in for long periods of time by the time I graduated in 09 my hair was past my shoulders. I just got rid of my faded curly Mohawk and have been growing my hair out for 4 months now. Its long enough to braid now so I am about to start the Meeking process.

hey king brill, love your content all the way out here in 🇯🇲. Been doing this process for years with the braids the oil and the do-rag over extended periods, I means like 1month and a half to 2 months especially if I rope twist it, it lasts even longer.

I think you could meek on a style that allows you to wash and moisturize your hair. Like cornorows(though washing makes all styles look older lol), plants and twists..
And food for thought; some People say their hair grows faster when its 'dirty' or oily and not constantly stripped of it natural oils.
Maybe push it to 3 weeks..

You only have to be watching for those split ends. If you let them go too long you'll damage your hair and growth will stop.
