@CheyTDMartinez Coconut oil or vitamin e oil are good oils to keep hair moisturised as well.
oil is not a moisturizer, it seals in the moisture. i use cream products that my hair actually likes and my hair stay moisturized for a while

It’s also in genes, my hair grows at least a inch or two a month. In a year of me growing out my hair it was almost up to my chin, it all really matters on how you treat it, I would cut off sugary foods and include more protein in your daily meals, and drink a gallon of water or 4 bottles of water a day. Once you have these you should see faster growth but if not it’s just your genes, my dad has a buzz cut and needs to cut his hair every 2 weeks cause it gets out of hand within those 2 weeks

@@24cull24 condition like twice a week if you can if you play sports adjust to your practice days and don't shampoo more than once a week do it when you know you don't have anymore activities that cause you to sweat and try drinking like 2 bottles of water a day and also get a leave in conditioner right after using conditioner put castor oil or an oil you can use in your hair around your hairline and in the strands but not too much oil and if you feel your hair is damaged or something do a protein treatment (finger detangling while you're doing the 30 minutes waiting to rinse ) and leave it in for 30 minutes then rinse it
out with water(finger detangle while rinsing) then shampoo (apply to scalp and use a pick or find a comb that is big enough to use like a wide tooth comb and brush when the shampoo is washed out )and then put conditioner and continue picking and brushing your hair .
1. While doing the 3 of these processes don't freak out if you lose some hair that's normal only freak out if it's a huge spot
2. Stop from the top(ends) of your hairs strands to the bottom(ends) of your hair strands to prevent from unnecessary hair loss and don't pick or comb too hard
3. Remember there's a difference between normal conditioner and leave in after shampooing I am saying use normal conditioner then add in leave in when your hair is a little bit wet and not soaking then keep finger detangling, brushing or picking out/combing and once you detangle your hair just make sure to comb and brush every single day and don't let your hair get dry use leave in conditioner to moisturize it once a week and use a good moisturizer for black men like shea moisture 3 butters styling smoothie like 3 times a week.
Sorry for all this stuff I'm telling you to do if you try this tell me if it works.

8:40 When you have dreads your hair doesn’t shed like it’s supposed to it’s all trapped in a lock. Also you can’t trim effectively with dreads. Trimming=healthy ends. (Js I’m sure you already knew tho👍🏽💯)

I used to have the same problem but over time my hair just got longer and grew which caused it to hang. There are stuff to make your hair hang like gels but I reccomend putting leave in conditioner with it so the gel doesn't dry out your hair and be somewhat moisturized throughout the day

You can't. No matter what you do, your head is constantly gonna shed. But if you're shedding an abnormal amount, maybe shampoo less and don't comb the wrong way.

Hey my brother I just had a question what is your opinion on men with long hair from a Bible perspective? Me personally I used to have long hair and then I cut it off. But now watching your videos I'm going to grow out my hair and get some dreads.
It's funny that I watch all these videos on how to grow hair faster, but in reality, I know it's just drink lots of water, better your diet, don't cut your hair and most importantly have patience.
