    For clarification:
In January of 2019 I suffered a life-threatening seizure which led to the discovery of 2 brain tumors. I had 2 emergency brain surgeries in 2 weeks and was diagnosed with Stage 3 Brain Cancer. These are the workouts I did during radiation and the 7 rounds of chemotherapy to build myself back up to where I used to be. I recently posted a "Highlight" video of some of my dunks within the last year (2 sessions were done while I was actually on heavy chemotherapy). It also had my max PRs which included a 330lb. Bench Press, 505lb. Deadlift and 545lb. Box Squat.
    .
I wasn't legally allowed to drive due to the seizures and my white blood cell count was so low from the chemotherapy that I had to stay away from public places so this is what I did given my restrictions and the physical condition I was in!
    ,
I'm just now entering into my 3rd full week at the gym and am tumor and cancer free as of December 2019 so get ready for content!

If you want to squat or deadlift then fill up a backpack with cans of beans, use gallons of water as dumbbells to jump with, always look for ways around it!

I did polevault, but since I graduated last year I did not really try to continue it. I thought I did not have much of a chance with only a vault of 13’10” because my verticals never really allowed me to jump too far from the box. I was always stuck jumping from the 9-10 mark when people I competed against jumped from the 12-13. This limited me to a 13’6-13’9 pole, with a lower flex rating.
I normally got first or second battling with the coach’s son (good kid, great coach that taught me for 2 years) up until regionals.
I Kinda wished I saw this when I was younger, but I think I might give this a try and go jump again.
Thanks for sharing the program, congrats on your recovery, and keep putting in the work.

I was always really impressed with pole-vaulters and the sport itself! It's crazy how much jumping can affect such a variety of sports in different ways. I wish you would've had it when you were younger, too, but it seems like you still had a very successful career with those numbers!
Thank you - recovery is going well! And, you're welcome! Best of luck on your journey to jumping higher!

Andrew Lloyd man what a blessing, I’m so grateful and blessed to hear that from you, my dog just got diagnosed with cancer snd it really showed me how precious life is man, how did you overcome that mentality. Most people could see themselves as a victim snd others stop saying “it’s not fair” and keep fighting, that’s what I like about you, you’re a fighter! And I definitely wanna learn how to get some hops now too, thank you for giving me hope! I’m about 5’9 so seeing you do this, it’s possible. Man you’re such a legend! Wishing u so much health and happiness my friend! Thanks for the update!

Louis Luzuka I wish you and your pup good health man that’s rough to hear!!
For me, I was just playing the hand I was dealt! A bad or sour attitude wouldn’t have made the situation any better so I just took it day by day. I randomly had the very first seizure of my life and it was life threatening. When I woke up, I was told I had a mass on my brain and later an MRI confirmed the first tumor *(3.5”+ in size)* and found a 2nd one *(1.5”)* spiderwebbed across both halves of my brain.
I had to undergo an emergency brain surgery and one week later I was told it was Stage 3 cancer so then a week after I was told I had cancer, they had to do another emergency brain surgery.
Daily chemo & radiation for 7.5 weeks followed by 6 heavy rounds of chemo.
It was out of my control and in God’s Hands so I knew that whatever happened was planned and I was totally fine with that🙏🏼

      @LouisLuzuka 3 роки тому +1

Andrew Lloyd thank you so so much, God is the greatest.
That’s exactly what i feel right now, its shocking and its normal to feel sad, but feeling sad won’t make the cancer go away, in fact you can do the best you can and lift it all to God, since then I’ve found out my friends dog has cancer and she’s sharing treatments naturally with me and we are both determined to heal this.
Just gotta do your best and lift it all to God, thank you for sharing your life with us 💗
