Great job... Do a few more videos on the same subject. Do one starting with a dark background And one with a light background then a dark stain. We always used a light tan paint then a dark walnut stain over it. The stain runs easily so you have to practice a bit. But all wood stains are like they were made for this
Every video I've watched on this other than yours shows the person rolling the tool in the other direction while dragging it. Instead of starting with tbe back end of the tool and rolling it towards the front while you drag it they all did the opposite and it looks like that gave them a cleaner end product?

Try doing one row one direction and then the opposite direction for the next line. :)

It almost looks like the little nubs on the end are to connect 2 of the rubber tools together maybe?

Looks more like a geometric pattern then real wood
