We use Orthographic to give dimentions, we use isometric to show off the item/model/part. Because it shows all 3 sets of sides. However, Isometric is not a perspective drawing. The PoV is infinitely far away. As opposed to the fish eye few we get. We're also not getting Isometric, we're getting the persepctive of someone on another smaller boat off the starboard bow... not useful.

At this point I am suprised, why they did not opt for the usual "Low budget" solutions. Like just make a 16 150mm gun Hindenburg/ Giga-Mainz. Or enlarge the O class, to add an extra turret for Ägir/ Siegfried. Or hell, even just copy and paste Ägir, tweak statistics a bit here and there, and release Tier 10 for a dedicated secondary build...
But instead activly decided, to go for the worst, and least popular option, to add a Tier 10 german cruiser.
O Class enlargement was an actual design as well (KW45/KW50) so would have as much basis as this.
In fact, as horrendous as it is, Hildebrand is also an actual German Design (likely the same nutters that did the H Battleships), she's in the Bundesarchiv under Flugzeugkreuzer A-IIa, though I believe she may have 283mm guns as opposed to 305mm.
Man I love it when a CV takes up a cruiser spot on the team.

honestly, the fact that, on the Discord, EVERYONE is flaming WG for making the second German T10 cruiser a Hybrid, really tells you everything you need to know about how well this thing is going sell, personally, im annoyed that they wasted an amazing secondary armorment like that on a cruiser, someone made the theory that this WAS going to be a German BB hybrid, but they changed it to a cruiser in an attempt to "please" the playerbase for their want of another T10 German cruiser, and, as we can see, that backfired *gloriously*

Lesta have Lothringen. A t10 KMS hybrid BB based on Pommern. Probly they see lesta making those and think why dont we copy them. But to make it not obvious we make it based on agir
Funny, Legends just added the hybrid US BBs, yet they use dutch style airstrikes that launch torpedoes. The are extremely gun oriented and can only throw at most 1 strike every ~90 seconds.

You know who loves planes, ahskance! A community manager who delivers community feedback to the devs. He knows what the community wants… planes! Not because he loves planes and it’s the only class he’s good at, but because the community absolutely loves planes.
That German cruiser is just a German carrier with Agir gun secondaries you can control. I was hoping for a beefier Siegfried.
So many better options for the TX German Cruiser. You could do an upsized and armed Graf Spee/Schill at that tier for something different from what we have otherwise, you could go a little creative and maybe do a TX light cruiser with a heavier torpedo armament like the other one they released not that long ago, you could do so many things without stepping on Hindenburg's already well-trodden toes. A hybrid cruiser?? Sadge. Tennessee looks mighty interesting, at least.
All they had to do was introdcue pre-nerf Agir with crazy secondaries, give it a slightly better reload and a bit more HP and maybe 8km torps
To be honest, I would prefer they add the Vermont class bb design with 12, 406/ 50-caliber guns with 30 knots top speed. Its armor would be much poorer then Vermont, but better than the Iowas Armor in terms of overall thickness (336mm) for the Tillman 3 design I think.
I suspect Tennessee will quickly become my nemesis ship whenever I take out the Repulse.

Some more info on Ipiranga, it will have 11.5 secondary range (12.65 with combat instructions) the bigger secondaries have Ohio dispersion and the smaller ones have main line German dispersion, the big secondaries on this ship won’t be able to pen 32 MM without IFHE. The 152s pen 31 mm base and the 127s pen 21mm base

- looks like a hybrid battleship, is a cruiser
- two different plane types, but is not a CV
- first hybrid with repair consumable for planes, but definitely a cruiser
- also probably Kearsarge/ Louisiana 38mm armored deck so mid-long range everything bounces and dutch airstrikes can't pen it
WG promising for years to balance out hybrids on both sides, and we still get games with Louisiana/ Kearsarge on only one side

Great, more hybrid. I just played a game each side had a CV and we had 2x Kearsarge and 2x Delaware. There Iowa pushed into 22km range and literally all the planes converged onto it and in 3mins he got sent back to dock. Then to the next BB and CA etc and steam rolled the enemy team only losing 1 ship in the process.
16:35 remember despite this thing have the same gun volume as Fuso does. It has 0.1 better sigma, 2 tiers higher and worse shell velocity. Which makes me thinking on why I want to operate this thing, when Fuso is just a better ship. Despite, Fuso is pretty much average BB. Oh and despite being 2 tiers lower compared to this Pan American BB, Fuso also reloads 2 seconds faster.
You play her for the increased survivability, the secondaries, and the funny button. And by the way, it has 0.2 better sigma, not 0.1.
Fuso is one of the best battleship at T6, which is why Hyuga is also very good at T7 despite being basically a slightly better Fuso with a MBRB. She's not "average", if you want true average, see something like Dunkerque, and her awful uptiered counterpart, Strasbourg.
This playerbase constantly complain about powercreep but they also complain when they *don't* get powercreep. This is why we get shit like Rhode Island, y'all have an extremely distorted view of what balance is.
@@IntelCorei-KProcessor-go2to I can see why you’re saying Fuso is a good BB. But I wouldn’t say the best. And I disagree on Dunkerque being an Average BB. I never see Dunkerque as a BB but a literal Paris in Morden day. It stinks. I think Dunkerque can’t even Battleship. Because your nose it still going to be literal combust anyways. There’s more BBs that clearly better than Dunkerque, heck I can place New Mexico slightly higher than Dunkerque and for me, NM is considered to be just very bad. No, I’m fine with Traditional BB speed. 20 knots for me is manageable. But New Mexico is bad due to it literally combust if you try to kite. Which is what many BBs should be able to do. Fuso can do that to a certain degree but due to how her gun angles are alright but not good enough to kite around. I rather get Mutsu.
Hyuga is slightly better Fuso and the reason why she is good is because of Reload Booster. That’s about it. Without it it just basically Fuso on Drugs. Still, why you want to operate a Spanish BBs? I don’t see the point of it. Sure, we have funny button for secondaries. But from what I see on this thing being a HMS Hood Hull, it might bot even going to work properly. We might get her into 32 knots speed. But that’s about it.
@@tsuaririndoku I didn't say "the best". I said "one of the best", and she is, by consensus. You're free to point out a superior 14in battleship at tier 6 (there isn't one). And considering 14in gunners take up the majority of T6 BBs, that automatically puts Fuso in the top spots, and that's even IF you were to assume that's she's worse than every 15in+ battleship (she isn't).
Fuso has BY FAR the best HE and AP DPM among her peers (its really not close), and can apply it into practice very well. This puts her right up there regardless of any other aspect of the ship. Its fine if you prefer Mutsu, but thats like... the other best battleship at Tier 6, so it really doesn't say much about Fuso. Its like saying you prefer iPhone 15 Pro Max over S24 Ultra, they're both flagship phones, your preference of one doesn't meaningfully detract from the other.
Strasbourg is a Reload Booster Dunkerque, and she doesn't get better (she is bad/mediocre), that's because they were taking a not very good T6 BB into T7. Hyuga on the other hand, is a good BB at T7 because Fuso is already a very good baseline at T6. That's my point, regardless of how Dunkerque actually scales against her peers.
Ipiranga won't have HMS Hood hull (not that there's anything wrong with that). It is some British fast battleship hull, and I don't see why that would impede the secondaries functions. If you're worried about the armor, we've seen the exact same hull magically gain more/lose armor as they are transferred to a different nation or tier. An example would be P. Rupperecht vs. Karl XIV Johann, or Iowa vs. Wisconsin.
EDIT: And, we've also seen the armor preview on some WoWS youtube channels. The Tier 10 Libertad has a very good armor profile, which bodes well for the T8 Ipiranga because whilst specifics change, the general profile doesn't.
My thought on the ship camera angle is, that they work with a ultrawide monitor, take screenshot and post-process change the 21:9 aspect ratio picture to 16:9?

80s reload on torp squadron seems similar to those brawling racks on deck which get frequently kicked off😅
it may sound illogical, but when converting a ship to a hybrid ship, you'd loses quite a few lbs' of weight from the ship overall. Although you're adding all sorts of things for the aircraft part like the armored deck, the cats, the hangar area etc. but you're also LOSING two turrets normally which have TONS of weight from the amount of armor the turrets would have on their face to stop shells from piercing into the guns room of the turret and causing a catastrophic magazine or ammo ignition. There's also the fact that yea there's tons of stuff which comes along with the planes and their maintenance, but a very large volume of what's under the launch deck is going to be just open air which weighs nothing at all.
TL;DR - You remove much more weight than you put back on when turning a regular CA/BB ship into a hybrid CA/BB ship

Waited and waited for a premium TX German cruiser and we get a hybrid :( was hoping for a TX Mainz or something along those lines.

California at tier 7 gets 26mm bow.
Tennessee (thr same class ship) at tier 8 gets 32mm bow
Next time, we will have Japanese ships able to launch submarine. It is baffling when it was the Japanese had the most Hybrid ships. Not that I'm asking for it.
One more thing, you forgot if the planes on the Hildebrand deck could turns on the propeller to speeds up the ship. It is why.
3x hildebrand, a cv, 3x lousiana, 3x halford & now just needs the hybrid submarine to say "screw this game"

At least Tennessee as California's sister will likely have dogshit firing angles. Before I found out it has cruiser dispersion I figured it'd be dogshit as essentially an upgraded California at a tier higher.

They sold us enterprise today for the update on console wows. Ans it sucks. Very under powered. Saipan is way stronger on console. They gave enterprise ap bombs and they only do 2500 damage. Thru also gave us American Vallejo tier 9 version of wooster with super heal and sap and unlimited reload booster . 5 second reload each shell does 3500 also it heals 60 percent of cit damage

I don't see issue with that, the issue is that Ipiranga would be a terrible design with that amount of weight put to its ass. They would need to lengthen the ass or something, this is just too cringe to look at if you have any common sense.
