Because my guy. San Fran used to be a 'good place' it was a safe and reasonable tourist destination for decade upon decade before the politicians gave it away to the homeless junkies flooding the streets with used needles. Don't get me wrong, I have (unlike most people) sat down and had real conversations with the homeless, befriended a great guy and helped him get a roof over his head, and know how many people are displaced from COVID/economy resulting from it. A guy won the Darwin Award once for trying to rob a gun store in Texas at gunpoint. He was riddled with bullets from the dozen carrying customers in the store all at once as soon as he started yelled for them to give him what he wanted. As a bay area resident since 1989 I am ashamed of what the culture and crime has become. I actually tell my friends from overseas NOT to visit here as it's not safe here. Sad.
San Francisco has been full of crazy people since the 1960's, my dad, his brother, and my grandparents left there in the late 60's and never looked back. Apparently back in the 1920's, 30's, 40's, and 50's people dressed nicely and you could walk down the street without the huge worry of being robbed.
Shoot, even the 80’s and 90’s weren’t this bad. I went there as a kid to the city bc I had family who lived near the Bay Area and there wasn’t this much brazen crimes committed.

How he could have used a second chance due to his own circumstances and to his homeboys that would have been better people if they had second chances. I explained to him what could happen, and he instantly regretted his decision is he didn’t think about all of that. I’m sure this is the story for many others that voted for this. Other people though, of course, voted for it cuz they are too kind hearted (so they think) and sympathetic towards these criminals and think that giving them second chances will make them better people. Don't get me wrong, I have (unlike most people) sat down and had real conversations with the homeless, befriended a great guy and helped him get a roof over his head, and know how many people are displaced from COVID/economy resulting from it. But that never excuses shooting up all over or people who turn to crime either. Not that I'm saying the perp is homeless, I'm just saying it's the "broken window theory".

I live 30 minutes away from SF and have ZERO interest in visiting the city. Thank you law makers
We won’t ever go into the Bay Area again! And we only live 1.5 hours away. Crappy politics have destroyed this beautiful city!
People watch too much TV, or something. there's nothing worth seeing in San Francisco. Too much natural beauty in America to waste any time in that crap hole.
Everyone has heard about San Fran. I just don’t feel sorry for them
I’m a part time Uber driver one of the parking lot near Golden Gate Bridge first time I see crime a group of people smash almost all the cars in that parking lot and get the valuables in less than 60 secs this group are professionals. Hopefully the government do something about this.
Their stupid to go to San Francisco when they know damn well that the place is lawless.
It saddens me to say they had it coming. Who in their right mind would go to any city in California, Illinois, New York or any other Democrat run city or state. Don't they realize what's going on in these places?
No more than you probably know what's going on in the various cities of their home countries.
When I drive across country, I go hundreds of miles out of my way to avoid driving in these states.
And the democrats are running this COUNTRY!! Oh did I say running? I meant ruining 🤬
Los Angeles is pretty nice, as well as Chicago. LA is crazy but it adds to the fun of it. I can’t speak for New York tho.
It happens in all states stop the political agendas, all political parties are fake, they are only in it for themselves, and we as Americans must recognize this and progress forward to change this. Stop being brainwashed by a political party and start being for America and America only
And SF has commercials showing how great tourism is in SF and how safe it is. Heck, I avoided SF while traveling north through California decades ago!
😊
We should just say F the law and we all carry guns in California us defenders, the more we push back the more we will get our gun rights back
I’m born and raised in Frisco. And I approve this video. Me and my whole family is with the 2nd amendment.
Then vote that way and get your neighbors to vote that way. Until you change your community, you are part of the problem.
He is not the problem, just vastly outnumbered.
You're the first person from San Francisco who I've ever heard call it Frisco.
Right there with you 🇺🇸
@@Stanky5000it’s a common slang word used in Cali. I heard it since childhood when referring to SF
This is a problem that will eventually solve itself when tourists and normal residents are gone.
Yup, that's the way it's going.
How is this not common knowledge at this point? Why are people, tourists included, still surprised at this and not prepared?
Absolutely No One should be complaining. Zero ! This is the will of the voters. This is the will of there elected officials that they want so there should be no complaints at all. The People voted to have high crime and to be unsafe then let them live this way while most politicians are in their high end gated communities laughing at their riff raff gullible voters. I don’t see an issue since Voters get what they voted on. The voters obviously love this behavior as reprehensible as it truly is.
As a bay area native, I see these break ins on a daily basis during my lunch back at In n Out by the Oakland coliseum, it's a damn shame
Do something about it don’t seat there and let them get away watching what there doing.
Do what? The cops won't even come because props 47 and 57 have protected these scumbags. If you do anything about it then you're the one that goes to jail. @@victoria19853
@@victoria19853 Do what exactly?
@@victoria19853 then they'd get arrested or worse killed because the law isn't on the side of good anymore! Our gooberment is corrupt to its core!
@@misterfister6193 You need help changing your diaper? Do what exactly? What would you do if someone is stealing from you or breaks in your house if you know what to do if it happens to you, you answer your own question.
I live here,,, I'm not shock,, this is normal here, also they want to pass a law where it is illegal to confront thieves... wild wild west out here.
If it was the Wild West, these lesser animals known as criminals would be face down in a ditch in an ignominious end.
It's so unfortunate that these thieves won't be held accountable for their actions
Lmao love how he breaks it down people are dumb so let's just dumb it down for them maybe that's what they should do when people vote dumb it down so they can understand wtf they're voting for
And this is why thieves like this need to be put somewhere cold and dark
Instead of pulling a weapon, and helping to defend someone, they pull out their phone, and record people being robbed.
