I don't understand the hate that Romo receives, especially since he has retired. He never caused any trouble of any kind like talking shit on his teammates/organization, doing drugs, or beating women. All he ever has been is a 100% respectable guy on and off the field, constantly carrying his team and recieving hate when they almost inevitably lose because Romo wasn't treated right on the cowboys. Cowboys never had a defense so Romo had to always put up incredible numbers just to be able to be a contender game after game. Even when Romo would throw for 4 touchdowns they would still lose because of the defense and Romo would take the blame 100% even though it wasn't his fault at all. By the way, I'm not a cowboys fan, just a football fan.
As a Cowboys fan, romo did have a team, a good enough defense, running game with Barber, but Romo blew it many times with his interceptions at the wrong critical time of the games. Stop making excuses for romo.
Michael Carranza tell me then if it was romos fault why didn't the cowboys just change quarterbacks or draft one because even the team knew it wasn't him it was the rest of the team
Should of played in the SB on the dezz no catch/catch all Cowboys fans and haters know he cought that damn ball at the 1 yard if not a TD u can say what u want but the pats that year there D was horrible against pass and big time WRs were putten up numbers I'm just saying the obvious lollllll
That touchdown pass Tony threw on 4th and goal against the Redskins that one year to save his team's season is the most underrated clutch moment of his career and one of the most overlooked clutch moments in sports. Not even Tom Brady can say he threw a TD pass to win the game in a win or go home situation to save his team's season on 4th and goal on the road, with a herniated disc in his back. Tony carried Dallas on his back for many years and eventually he couldn't take it anymore, and it gave out. But he also gave every single thing he had to the franchise and as a fan? I will never ever forget that. I will never forget the blood, the sweat and the tears that Romo gave for his team. He will always be my favorite Cowboy and an inspiration to me for the rest of my life. So he didn't have the rings or the playoff wins. Football is a team sport. And if you look at his individual stats? They are some of the best out there and hands down the best stats in Cowboys history. And his story is simply remarkable. He is a living breathing football Rocky. He came out of nowhere, undrafted from a Division II school in Eastern Illinois and became the starting QB for the Dallas Cowboys. More people should be looking back at this man's career in awe and in admiration than in disgust or hate. If Tony had the playoff wins on his resume or a ring? No one would be doubting this man's skills or his talent. And it's a crying shame that the cruel mistress of fate sidelined him again and ended his career when he finally had the best team around him that he could potentially lead to a super bowl. I have said this time and time again and I will say it here. If Tony had a top ten defense and a reliable running game for most of his career? In his prime? He would have multiple playoff wins under his belt and at least one ring. But he never had that. He either had one or the other. Or neither. Which makes his performances throughout his career even more impressive to me in retrospect. For most of his career? Every week was a win or go home situation. Those three 8-8 seasons? That all ended with losses in win and get in games? The only factor and the only reason why those Dallas teams were even in a win and get in game at the end of the season was because of Romo's herculean efforts the previous weeks of the season. One year Dallas had a defense that was ranked dead last in almost every single category and it was the worst defense in Dallas Cowboys history. And he got that team with that defense into a situation where the team could still get in to the playoffs at the end of the season. That's impressive. I don't care who you are. And that's a fact that gets overlooked by many and it really shouldn't. Tony Romo is the QB that had all the tools, and had all the talent but never had the team around him to maximize it into a championship. He is not a choker. He lead the league in come from behind victories before his injury, he is not overrated. He has set multiple records for his team, and has set quite a few NFL records as well and has one of the best career passer ratings in NFL history. And he most definitely is not a turnover machine. That is a myth and has been debunked time and time again and if you actually looked at his stats? You would see that he took care of the ball just as well if not better than most of his peers throughout his career. And he shall be and should always be remembered as one of the best quarterbacks of his generation and if people want to say otherwise? So be it. But the tape doesn't lie. Stop looking at team accomplishments when you look back at Tony's career. That's not fair to him or any QB. Look at his individual stats, what he himself and he alone brought to his team. And I can safely say that Tony brought everything that he had in him on gameday and then some. I will miss seeing No.9 under center. And I wish him the best going forward in his life and in his broadcasting career.
Too bad this is all hyperbole, and factually inaccurate. If any of this were true it'd be rather poetic, oh well. Nice story though, try telling a nonfictional one next time?
trick top 2009 I believe against philly and 2014 against Lions then they lost to packers after that with the dez catch. He had a 2-4 career postseason record
I'm a Giants fan, but Tony Romo is one of my favorite players in the sports. Besides being an amazing person and broadcaster, his QB career was pure magic to me
A lot of the younger fans who don't really understand how bad the Cowboys were between Aikman and Romo have to understand those were some very dark days. Romo was an excellent QB who could make all the throws, was dangerous on the move, was pretty much lights out in the red zone. A lot of years this team didn't have a defense or an offensive line, and once those things came Romo was in the twilight years of his career. He took risks on the field and they sometimes didn't pay off, but if you put Romo in a lot of other situations, like say the 49ers against the Ravens in the Super Bowl, he might have a ring. Bill Belichik could have won multiple rings with Romo. Super fast release, excellent touch, ability to throw across the body. Never got him a line or a running game until it was too late and too many injuries ate him up. He'll always be right there with Aikman in my mind, he can't help it his team owner is senile.
Not a Cowboys fan, but always admired Romo's ability and was baffled by the hate. I still am. Who are these people watching play? 'Cause it ain't this guy. Everything you say here is true. (One thing you don't mention: throwing on the run. Only QB I've seen do it better is that baaad man, Aaron Rodgers.) Romo had a good o-line in 2006/7 and in 2014, a running game to give him some relief in 2007 (decent) & 2013/14 (great), and a good all-around defense just once, in 2009 (the '07 defense was good against the run). Aside from that, the Cowboys were pretty much a clusterfuck in a dumpster fire during a shitstorm throughout Romo's career. A handful of elite players at key positions barely kept them competitive: guys like Demarcus Ware, Sean Lee, Witten, Dez, and most especially Tony Romo. Think about it: the fate of the Cowboys, and the fate of the NFC East in general, depended for years on Tony Romo's health--THAT is how good he was. During his career the Cowboys went 7-20 without Romo, but with him that same shit team was 78-49--THAT is how good he was. You can put up stats like Romo's for a year or two and maybe it's a fluke. He did it for 10 years--no fluke. He was a beast of a QB. If he had played for the Jags everyone would be calling him a shoe-in Hall of Famer now.
I feel so bad for all the injuries. One of my favorite players-felt like he was always shat on, and I didn't get it, he is clutch and a great QB. He would get my HOF vote
Best QB in NFC East history. Most underrated QB ever. Most underappreciated player in NFL history. Human highlight reel. Would have won plenty of super bowls with any kind of team. Toughest player to suit up. Selfless.
Romo broke his back carrying the cowboys. Literally broke his back for the cowboys. So underated. Such a role model too. So sad he had to retire. From Undrafted to legend. TR9!!!
Yea, I think people hated seeing how bad the Cowboys as a whole were, even with a great quarterback. The media hated him because they were all the time pushing the story that a great quarterback is what wins championships. Romo was all the time proving that great teams win championships.
ZombieInHd 11 people blame those Who are the leaders of the team are responsible for every part of the game from the play calls on offence and defense but the qb has always taken the blame for all the the losses Romo will always be my hero
Growing up watching romo play was amazing that man is the best cowboys Qb to ever play if they didn't look at rings and watching this video almost brought me to tears
Still my QB, DC4L and I know what we had in Tony. Toughness and pure determination, as well as a damn strong passer. He also scrambled with the best of them. He should get inducted in my mind 💯
Tony romo is so underrated he deserves to be considered one of the great elite qb's but all football fan think about when u say tony romo is injury pron and old because all they remember is his last 4 seasons and he should be recognized for being a great quarter back
Im an Eagles fan and I have to admit Tony Romo was incredible. What he did with nothing was crazy. If he had the O line Dallad has now he takes them all the way. Truly one of a kind talent.
We owe you a bunch Tony, your back is in the shape it is because you carried the team and the entire fan base for 6+ years. You may not have a ring but you my sir are one helluva class act that kicked alot of ass all by YOURSELF !!
Tony Romo was one of the most talanted players I've ever seen. People slept on the phenom that he really was. So glad I got to see him lead my Cowboys every week. That's my Quarterback!
Y'all can make fun of me all you want. This almost made me cry. That game against Washington with what we thought was a leg injury but turned out to be a broken back is heroic, inspirational. God bless Tony Romo.
Tony Romo was the first quarterback I ever watched. I don't think I will ever love a football player as much as I love Romo. Watching Tony game after game put his health and reputation on the line in order to try and lift his team to victory was such an amazing thing. I was so worried about the game against Carolina, and I was devastated seeing him go down and out again.Tony Romo's career is what made me a Cowboys fan and a football fan. Knowing that the next season will be 100% different from that 2007 team I watched for my first NFL games will be a total shock. Romo retired, Ware won a ring in Denver, Witten is with the Raiders, and Garrett isn't coaching the team in any way. Every big name from that team has been replaced, and even though the Cowboys never won the Super Bowl with Romo in the front seat, I will always believe that he is one of the best quarterbacks in Dallas Cowboys and NFL history. He lived in Aikman's shadow even though he started years after Aikman's retirement. The previous dynasties of the franchise tainted Romo's career in the minds of many, but I will always remember his career for his heart, kindness, grit, and determination. I hope he ends up in the Hall of Fame one day, because he was a Hall of Fame quarterback to this franchise and this fan. I'm so happy to see so many other positive comments about Romo and his career here. I just wish he had this much praise during his time at quarterback. Thank you for everything, Tony.
One of the best. My all time favorite. He deserves so much more respect. If he would've played for anyone but Dallas they would've loved him. They the media and nfl fans.
When casuals say romo isn't clutch lmao . Second highest fourth quarter qbr rating and had the most fourth quarter comebacks for about half s decade straight
Oh, I thought that leaders took the blame for failures, not blamed it on girl friends, teammates, and everything but themselves. Guess I was wrong, so Romo was an excellent leader and won several Superbowls then right? No, oh yes we're here in reality not fantasyland. He was a selfish player who made excuses when he lost, and set a horrible standard for competition to his teammates.
Especially if your defense is facing someone like Romo who could single handed;y lose you the game with 5+ turnovers. How many times did Romo put his defense in a hole with 3 and outs, turn overs in key situations, etc? It's only a team game when you want to blame everyone for his mistakes, i guess? Winners find a way to win, it's proven by... winning. Losers find a way to lose. Romo was a loser.
Tony Romo was (as a footballer), as person, and is ( booth analyst) made of legendary stuff. Much respect to him, and in retrospect I'm glad I had always been a fan of his.
That is one of the greatest videos ive ever seen. Im a cowboys fan a die hard cowboys fan. I cried when his career ended. I believe he is the greatest QB our team has ever had. I hope he gets that jacket.
Thank you so much for this video! This is MY favorite QB of all time and i mirror my style of play off of Romo. I appreciate you taking the time to create this video and choosing one of the most UNDERRATED AND UNDER APPRECIATED QB's of all time. I told my wife "I've got the Tony Romo feels right now." .... Again, thank you and keep up the PHENOMENAL videos!
Remember that game when Romo had like 542 yards passing? It was insanity. That boy could bomb that ball across the field right into the bosom of a receiver. If he had the talent (and protection) that Dak is gonna have going into this season we'd be a SB contender easy. The defense always sucked under his reign. Never had an O-line at all, which was why he was always getting hurt... He was single-handedly trying to get us to the playoffs every year. And when he did have help (Murray, Bryant) we go 13-3 AND ALL THE WHILE UNDER GARRET. Damn, right QB wrong time.
Say what you want about Romo the guy went out and played his heart out. He truly was dedicated to his team. A very passionate football player and very talented. You absolutely don't have to like him but give him the respect he deserves. Also let's be honest he was a qb who didn't win a Superbowl on a team that a lot a lot of people don't like. I'm forever a Cowboys fan (I'm from Fort Worth Texas) but it's not bias honestly. A lot of our own fans hated the guy. Romo deserves a tribute, he was great, he was a great qb, he had ups and downs, strengths and weaknesses. No matter what you say, he went out and played every drive, put everything into his game. Played injured, played knowing so many disliked him, played through all the hate. Give the man the respect he deserves. Tony Romo is as tough as it gets and I'm glad to have seen him play for so many years.
#9 Tony Romo was a fighter, a worrier a hero to me and other people one of the best QB in NFL. But yet some people gave him hate but besides that he was one of the greatest QB in the Cowboys in NFL history.
One of the G.O.A.T QB's in Dallas Cowboys history he didn't get the Ring nor did he Win a lot of Playoffs but this guy was a Beast & I Salute him Thanks Tony Romo!!""How About Them Cowboys""🏈🏈"" DC4LIFE""🏈🏈
I'm 35 years old and been a cowboys fan all my life and he's my fav cowboy Qb all time. he was only hated because he played for the cowboys. the man broke all cowboy QB records in 9 seasons! not even full seasons!
It good that everyone likes him now, I remember the 3 years Dallas went 8-8 Romo took alot of hate from fans. It was hell trying to defined him. I remember 2013 when he went down before the last game of the season against eagles for a wildcard playoffs spot. There were so called Dallas fans saying "wow, not we might have a chance with the backup QB". All the shit he had to take parts of his career were made up for great moment, just wish he would have won one with us.
Romo was honestly clutch despite being called a choker. He often carried our weaker teams until we finally drafted him a line, but by then he was too beat up. Dude put his body on the line, took pay cuts, and then went gracefully at the end of his career instead of going and being mediocre at another team. He was my QB and I always argued he was underrated. Now he is killing it at announcing. Enjoy retirement #9
THANK YOU. been waiting on him. of course this dude is broken. He had no offensive line and his defense was shit and he put the points up, defense couldnt stop shit. look at the browns. all their broken QBs cuz they have no offensive line. Romo was dope
Michael Carranza look it up you stupid piece of shit16- 32 ranked defense for entire career. Know how many teams went to super bowl with 16th ranked defense or worse? ZERO! Ever! Couple that with horrible offensive lines, and yet #3 passer rating in NFL HISTORY. Most yards, touchdowns, highest completion %, highest QBR, in Dallas history, highest touchdown to interception ratio. Your wrong and offensive in your stupidity
Michael Carranza Aye bruh. Look it up on your own. His stats are all there. Why do you think he got sacked often? Why do you think QBs with shitty offensive lines scramble around a lot and get sacked often? Cuz they want to? The line may have not been the worst Oline but it was not enough to keep him in the pocket. and the defense couldnt keep up with most offenses.
The Cowboys had one of the top O-Lines in the NFL during romo's tenure, won 13 games in 2007 season, no excuse for the bad throws he made ending the Cowboys seasons. Interception after interception ending Cowboys season.
Michael Carranza He put the points up.. Once again.. Defense couldnt hold the other offense you dumb shit lol. Yeah he threw a few interceptions but he actually has one of the highest score rating, or the highest, in the 4th quarter or last couple of minutes. Youre just talking shit cuz you dont like cowboys lol. You dont know anything
Romo's true greatness was in making everyone around him better. Laurent Robinson was a journeyman receiver with the Rams and in his 1 year in Dallas, he caught 11 touchdown passes from Number 9. Miles Austin was an undrafted free agent and Romo was the main reason why Austin was a 2 time Pro Bowler. I would bet that if Tony didn't get hurt prior to the 2016 season, the Cowboys would have represented the NFC in the Super Bowl.
Tony Romo will Always have the respect of the True fan of the Sports & We thank him for the all he gave the game. A Personal Thanks Tony👊🏼👍🏼 From A Chicago Bear fan
As a Broncos fan, one of my favorite games in the crazy ride that was the recording breaking 2013 season was against the Cowboys. Manning led us to 51 points and scored a rare rushing touchdown, but the game wouldn’t have been as interesting if not for the fact that Tony Romo led his squad to 48 points. Even though the Cowboys lost that day, Romo helped them put up a heck of a fight and I respect him for it. I always enjoyed watching the Cowboys play during his time under center and he’s part of why they’re my third favorite team. He’s definitely an underrated quarterback and I think he found his true calling as a commentator. I think that the amount of insight he provides and number of plays he calls perfectly before they happen shows how much he knows about the game.
Thank you so much for this. So much has happened since his years in Dallas. That was such a great time, frustrating at times as well, but, probably the last time I really enjoyed watching my Cowboys. Nicely done...
I always loved Tony from the first time I saw him play. Tony was the magic man! He elevate very sorry teams more then any other QB in the history of the game. It is a total shame that he never had the team around him to win a superbowl. Tony should be a 1st ballet hall of famer...Tony did the impossible that no else could do...I love ya Tony and sure miss you.
Dude was a dominant qb, whether you don't like him or not...that's up to you. But if you don't think Tony Romo was a great NFL quarterback you simply do not know football.
Keith Kirwan most people including myself appreciate & admire what he done for Dallas & I am a cowboys fan..but I'm not gonna lie & act like he was perfect..yeah he had bad teams..but he himself fucked up when the opportunity was given at times. just like the teams
Cameron Crowley ur a clown !!! the only one is the fumbled snap on the field goal, check out his playoff stats he definitely was not the reason we lost . u don't know shit and don't need bandwagon jumpers like u
Saul Tarsus I Agree I’m not a cowboys fan but he put this team on his back he took hits for the team and everyone quickly switched up on him when Dak came I hated that it pissed me off I think he deserved to win a ring if not two or three
I was hoping tony could win a super bowl and be respected finally. To bad he would rather retire than play for any other city. Numbers scream HOF in fact they blow other HOF players numbers out of the water. Only thing missing is a super bowl. 100 quadrillion % Romo would be HOF with just 1 super bowl. Undrafted Fastest QB to ever pass 30,000 yards 4 highest rated QB in the history of the sport Number 1 highest rated QB in the history of the sport in the 4th quarter and on game winning drives. Leads the franchise in every single record and had a better TD to INT ratio than many HOF players. Romo is HOF with 1 fucking ring. It’s a shame he couldn’t get it. Those 8-8 teams would have won 1-4 games without him just like in 2015 went from 12 wins to just 1 missing Romo. Never had a consistent coaching effort Never had a consistent run game Never had a consistent defense in fact one year it was one of the worst in the history of the sport Was out there all by himself as an undrafted dude who played with a broken back broken ribs a punctured lung never quit or gave up on his team until the very end. Players have said Romo was basically the coach for the offense that he was always way more prepared than garret and always brought more to the meeting than the coaches. Cowboys have said this. Romo deserves fucking respect and he deserved a ring.
The dice just didn't shake out his way to get that ring, but I'd put him up against any QB from any era in a one game situation. The man was the total package at QB; he had the arm, the eye, the mad scrambles, the unbreakable heart, and that brilliant football mind that could see the play develop in front of him. He absolutely belongs in Canton, as he is literally one of the best total QB packages ever.
IF you're a Cowboy fan AND u say this man didn't carry us for YEARS..U BUMPED YA F'N HEAD!! I cannot count how many plays he 'saved' kept alive!! I TELL U WHAT: give him those TROY AIKMAN TEAMS..OK🤐!!🏈👑👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Die hard Cowboy fan my whole life and I remember all the trash we had at QB before Romo..... He lit a fire in Cowboys nation that always have are team a chance! He made my Passion for Cowboys football even stronger!
Tony Romo the best quarterback Dallas Cowboys will ever have. The most underrated quarterback in the NFL! Why.. do you know the answer? God Bless you Tony Romo God bless you and your family and may he give you his peace.
When Romo became the starting quarterback He should have stopped being the place holder on extra points. That was not Romo's fault it was a coaching failure.
Samuel Rogers I totally agree, people hate on him for the fuck up in Seattle, but he was the only starting qb to place hold of not the only an still doing it
My childhood hero. Thanks for inspiring me to play Football Tony. Thank you for the memories and thank you for letting me find my passion. Let your legacy live on in Canton.
I absolutely with a passion hate the Cowboys I would love nothing more for them to have a winless season every year but Tony Romo is an elite QB and imo the way he came into the NFL is the absolute best for a QB when he was a top 15 maybe top 10 qb
You realize that 15 puts him at average right? There are only 32 starting qb's in the league. Please tell me the 14 qb's ahead of him. 1 Rodgers 2 Brady 3 Brees 4 Manning 5 Roethlisberger 6 Rivers 7 Ryan 8 Romo. That is really pushing it to say that Roethlisberger Rivers or Ryan are better than he is. I personally think he is at least 5.
Say what y'all want about Romo but he was a beast. He retired to soon. I do believe in 2014 he had action but after coming from that last injury he showed he still had it.. Legend in my book💪🏽
The most exciting QB to watch in my lifetime and the best QB in Cowboys history. His stats would be even higher if he started every year he played. Parcell's had him carrying a clip board his 1st 4 seasons and missed a 5th season due to injury.
I don't give a damn that he never won a super bowl. He was one of the best QBS in Cowboys and NFL history!
Packers Productions 26-3 lead blown defense is a big part in that bro
@Packers Productions he gave up nothing. The defense gave them that game.
Not all of the greats win a superbowl. Dan Marino didn't either, but that takes nothing away from either of their legacies
@Bald Broke Monger in Rayong w/ Fake Online Degree undrafted free agent didnt waste any team's chances dumb ass
THE BEST
Tony Romo is easily one of the most underappreciated but talented QBs to ever play the game.
-Respect from a Packers fan
I don't understand the hate that Romo receives, especially since he has retired. Couldn't have said it better myself
excuses
So we should give romo credit for doing the right thing, not hitting women?
The standards of the NFL LOL
As a Cowboys fan, romo did have a team, a good enough defense, running game with Barber, but Romo blew it many times with his interceptions at the wrong critical time of the games. Stop making excuses for romo.

In my opinion he is one of the greatest to never win a championship.
Nitrodak Randomness hes one of the best qb just cowboys didn't have a good df.
Tony Romo please come Coach The Dallas Cowboys IMMEDIATELY!!!!!
After Dan Marino he is the greatest to never win a championship, and I am a Niners fan.
yep...

OcpCommunications well said
I agree with everything you said but hey, Brady is as clutch as anyone else and def the most clutch ever.
Israel Pallares John Elway has more clutch moments than tom Brady. Tom Brady has barely ever been put into clutch moments.
This guy was so good. Never had more fun watching anyone else.

Mac Styles we got screwed that year! We should’ve been SB Champs!
Ethan Rhoads name what year
trick top 2009 I believe against philly and 2014 against Lions then they lost to packers after that with the dez catch. He had a 2-4 career postseason record

If he had played for the Jags everyone would be calling him a shoe-in Hall of Famer now.
facts. the teams we had prior to 2014 had no business in the playoffa
I feel so bad for all the injuries. One of my favorite players-felt like he was always shat on, and I didn't get it, he is clutch and a great QB. He would get my HOF vote
Tom Mulvey I wouldn't say clutch lol,but I agree
White death 54 he led 32 game winning drives during his time as a starter so the most in that time frame so ya clutch sorry kid
Tom Mulvey same here
Hes clutch at getting Injured
Best QB in NFC East history. Most underrated QB ever. Most underappreciated player in NFL history. Human highlight reel. Would have won plenty of super bowls with any kind of team. Toughest player to suit up. Selfless.
I only respect warriors. Tony Romo is a Warrior. -U.S. Infantry
Jaime Juarez my respect to you
so u respect golden state?
Military personnel are so fucking stupid I swear.
Jeffrey he must be stupid for fighting freedom for a fat slump of shit like you
Doesnt mean hes good
Romo broke his back carrying the cowboys. Literally broke his back for the cowboys. So underated. Such a role model too. So sad he had to retire. From Undrafted to legend. TR9!!!
Twice.
If he wouldn't have got hurt Zekes rookie year I think he would've got one
They took a Super Bowl ring away from him in 2014. Smh... he deserves one.
TexasBoy Aaron shit is sickening
Imagine the beating they would’ve gave the Broncos
It was a catch
I hate to say this, but y’all kinda got lucky against the Lions. Now I may be an Eagles fan, but anyone with eyes saw that PI.
Woody Da Pimp it wasn’t the broncos that year it was the pats so idk if we woulda won
Tony Romo, was really good. A lot of people never saw it, sadly.
Cameron Nelson they only see the bad side of him
Cameron Nelson I only saw him in a stretcher or in hospital
Marzman people don't recognize shit till it's takin sadly
Cameron Nelson the should have put his last drive in there
How many playoff wins he get?
The reason Tony Romo was so hated is because he was so fucking good
Yea, I think people hated seeing how bad the Cowboys as a whole were, even with a great quarterback.
Romo was a scapegoat... Very sad
No I was because he never won a playoff game
trick top That was a false statement. He's won playoff games. smh
Growing up watching romo play was amazing that man is the best cowboys Qb to ever play if they didn't look at rings and watching this video almost brought me to tears
Thank you Tony for providing the most entertaining career I have ever witnessed. You were pure Jedi in the pocket.
Still my QB, DC4L and I know what we had in Tony. Toughness and pure determination, as well as a damn strong passer. He also scrambled with the best of them. He should get inducted in my mind 💯
i liked him as a qb. Now that he's retired, i hope he gets recognized for the things he accomplished.
Nicolas Saba he actually accomplished several things
Nicolas Saba he has broke almost ever record on Dallas... so yeah 😊
Nicolas Saba He also was an undrafted free agent who broke almost every Dallas record
Nicolas Saba hating on romo bc of the negatives in his career lol...can't even give him his props on what he did right
Nicolas Saba you didn't say anything positive about romo...you were bashing him
Tony romo is so underrated he deserves to be considered one of the great elite qb's but all football fan think about when u say tony romo is injury pron and old because all they remember is his last 4 seasons and he should be recognized for being a great quarter back
i’m so glad i learned to appreciate romo in my adult years, easily one of the goat quarterbacks to play
Honestly I think he’s a better QB than akiman
Im an Eagles fan and I have to admit Tony Romo was incredible. What he did with nothing was crazy. If he had the O line Dallad has now he takes them all the way. Truly one of a kind talent.
We owe you a bunch Tony, your back is in the shape it is because you carried the team and the entire fan base for 6+ years. You may not have a ring but you my sir are one helluva class act that kicked alot of ass all by YOURSELF !!
Thank you for this. I miss Romo sooooo badly so now I can just watch this when I need a fix.
As long as Tony was on the field you knew you had a chance dang we miss you Tony.
And 2 play off wins with 4 losses, yea, real clutch.
Joshua Wood go ahead and blame it al on him lmao , he's at fault for ONE of the losses , and it wasn't even a qb mistake .
Joshua Wood
Guess Daks a Loser
Romo is my all time Favorite player!! What a story!!
Thank you so much for appreciating Romo. I cried during his speech. I love dak too but Romo was a Cowboy for a long time. Thank you for doing this
Tony Romo was (as a footballer), as person, and is ( booth analyst) made of legendary stuff.
Respect for #9 when Bledsoe was benched he carried this dead team for years respect for his athletic ability 💯💯
Great tribute. Honest and Loyal.
One of the G.O.A.T QB's in Dallas Cowboys history he didn't get the Ring nor did he Win a lot of Playoffs but this guy was a Beast & I Salute him Thanks Tony Romo!!""How About Them Cowboys""🏈🏈"" DC4LIFE""🏈🏈
I'll never forget all the great years Tony! You will always be the man!
Sure miss Tony Romo. He was a winner in my opinion. He brought a lot of class to the NFL.
All the shit he had to take parts of his career were made up for great moment, just wish he would have won one with us.
crazy thing is, those teams had no busines being 8 and 8. Romo dragged them to 8 wins
Where is your evidence that romo's defense was not good?
Tony was a beast man honestly one of the most underrated quarterbacks ever.
I would bet that if Tony didn't get hurt prior to the 2016 season, the Cowboys would have represented the NFC in the Super Bowl.
absolutely incredible work as always JV, changing the game
Game recognize game.
Tony Romo will Always have the respect of the True fan of the Sports & We thank him for the all he gave the game.
A Personal Thanks Tony👊🏼👍🏼
From A Chicago Bear fan
One tuff QB Tony Romo much love m respect thank you for meny good years
A true student of the game we miss you Romo. Thank you for all the amazing things you did
I never understood why Romo was so hated.
Asad Lalani people just think he gets injured way too easily
Panda King That shouldn't really be a reason for him to get hated on.
Asad Lalani I agree he is underrated
And that's coming from a giants fan
Asad Lalani he played for the Cowboys
Panda King Respect from a cowboys fan.
I always loved Tony from the first time I saw him play. Tony was the magic man! He elevate very sorry teams more then any other QB in the history of the game. It is a total shame that he never had the team around him to win a superbowl. Tony should be a 1st ballet hall of famer...Tony did the impossible that no else could do...I love ya Tony and sure miss you.
just came out and already gonna love it
I have so much respect for Romo. Thank you for everything you've done for us here in Dallas ❤👏💯
Damn man this makes me sad watching. One of the most exciting QBs ever. Loved watching him play
Cameron Crowley you've been sipping the media koolaid
Cameron Crowley ur a clown !!! the only one is the fumbled snap on the field goal, check out his playoff stats he definitely was not the reason we lost . u don't know shit and don't need bandwagon jumpers like u
I checked his stats, 2-4 in the playoffs. Doesn't seem very impressive.
Joshua Wood wins arent a qb you stat you dumb bitch
This was absolutely masterful. The good and bad weaved together artfully.
Tony is one of the best QBs in NFL history....It was a pleasure watching him play,it hasn't been the same since....
Saul Tarsus I Agree I’m not a cowboys fan but he put this team on his back he took hits for the team and everyone quickly switched up on him when Dak came I hated that it pissed me off I think he deserved to win a ring if not two or three
Best video I seen of Romo. Very emotional for a true cowboy fan. " Tony Romo digging into the bag of tricks" great sounds
Undrafted
Fastest QB to ever pass 30,000 yards
4 highest rated QB in the history of the sport
Number 1 highest rated QB in the history of the sport in the 4th quarter and on game winning drives.
Never had a consistent coaching effort
Never had a consistent run game
Never had a consistent defense in fact one year it was one of the worst in the history of the sport
Was out there all by himself as an undrafted dude who played with a broken back broken ribs a punctured lung never quit or gave up on his team until the very end.
Players have said Romo was basically the coach for the offense that he was always way more prepared than garret and always brought more to the meeting than the coaches. Cowboys have said this.
Romo deserves fucking respect and he deserved a ring.
y'all can't lie.... Romo to Dez ( was a crazy duo)
What about Terrell owens.
@@rebeccafernandez2835 His experience with Owens is what made him so good with Dez.
It's about damn time you did Tony Romo
Thank you for making this. I never gave ground #9 for life. Thank you for bringing back respect to the star.
It’s 2021 and I still miss this dude! Romo fan for life!!
Hell yeah!Romo for the Hall!!!
Romo forever! Best QB anyone could ever ask for! Will never forget his years in Dallas!!
Great tribute!!! We love you Tony! Go Cowboys !!!
I'm glad to be a cowboys fan Tony Romo playing with broken ribs is unbelievable.
Tony Romo was a great player, a true competitor with immense heart. His talent was never a question, It's a shame he never got to play in a superbowl.
thank you for making this video I've been waiting for it...
When Romo became the starting quarterback He should have stopped being the place holder on extra points. That was not Romo's fault it was a coaching failure.
Samuel Rogers I totally agree, people hate on him for the fuck up in Seattle, but he was the only starting qb to place hold of not the only an still doing it
im a cowboys fans but holding the ball isnt hard, he messed up as well.. I LOVE HIM NO MATTER WAT THOE❤
Romo was my favorite cowboy but you dont just change holders midseason
One of the best!!! We'll miss you T!!!
Finally some respect for him
Ikr
tom brady is the greatest gb of all time that includs aaron rodgers
Wyman Kemble
Joe Montana
The Td throw over Revis at 3:28 was absolutely beautiful. Perfect throw
Forever my quarterback, So much fun to watch and one of the few i would love to meet to thank them for everything they did.
Excellent video!! Tony Romo best cowboys QB ever.

Gamer fly_21 we all thank him
Tommy boy Belichick
U Need to See a Doctor
My quarterback ✊
Tony romo underrated
This video underviewed
My childhood hero. Thanks for inspiring me to play Football Tony. Thank you for the memories and thank you for letting me find my passion. Let your legacy live on in Canton.
I absolutely with a passion hate the Cowboys I would love nothing more for them to have a winless season every year but Tony Romo is an elite QB and imo the way he came into the NFL is the absolute best for a QB when he was a top 15 maybe top 10 qb
GzAshes I'm curious, why do you hate the cowboys?
Well obviously someone who hates the team would LOVE Romo, all he did was lose when it mattered....
Uh, Dak wasn't ever mentioned here. Maybe I sound like a Cowboy fan, which I am....
Joshua Wood romo can't win when your management is trash and doesn't help him out by acquiring players. Do you disagree? Romo was elite.
thank you Tony
Say what y'all want about Romo but he was a beast. He retired to soon. I do believe in 2014 he had action but after coming from that last injury he showed he still had it.. Legend in my book💪🏽
Romo was the star ⭐️ of the cowboys Romo had alot of pride for the cowboys he was a fighter inches by inches ✌🏽✌🏽👍🏽👍🏽☝🏽
Romo was a phenomenal quarterback and I truly wish he would have gotten a ring because he deserved it.
MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED THANKYYOUUU
Having seen this, I'm going to have to take back almost everything I've ever said about Romo
Respect to you
The most exciting QB to watch in my lifetime and the best QB in Cowboys history. His stats would be even higher if he started every year he played. Parcell's had him carrying a clip board his 1st 4 seasons and missed a 5th season due to injury.
Mike Waltz first 2 seasons* he played about half of his 3 season and was the starter ever since besides the few injury years
Glad you included the good with the bad. He was always great to watch
Thank you Joseph Vincent for this video.
