@@OriginalNightStalker He's definitely using compressor there plus something else. Also baritone guitar adds to the mix a lot.

i dont play the guitar and know nothing about music as a musician, but as a listener...martin miller is unbelievable. the whole band is fantastic. i cant believe im saying this, but martins solo here is even better than on YYZ....which i thought would be impossible!!! wow.

I too found Martin through Troy Grady and of all the guitarists and musicians I've been turned on to in the past decade, these sessions are the most lucrative for my soul. I've listened to them all so many times now. These sessions are my most played playlist in my car, my computer and my phone...

This is the first Steely Dan cover that I have truly enjoyed. The original work's production is so definitive that only rarely can a group manage to add anything of value....but these guys have managed it, from every single player. The contrasting guitar voicings work together in a way that I would not have expected. Outstanding job by everyone in the room!

The cover was pretty good but I shed a small tear when Mark started his solo. DAMN that was funky
I've been listening to a lot of Aja lately, it honestly may be my favorite album of all time, and I love hundreds of albums. It's so awesome to see a cover of this track, and it's done very well.

Plus i spent about 4 hours total yesterday with my first semi hollow FIrefly 338 Cobra Burst flamed maple guitar . When i wasn't playing noodling or actually practicing with it. I was just staring at it because it is just soooooooo beautiful----just like the way all of you played on this amazing cover of an iconic 70s song. Great job guys😎🎼🎵🎶🎵🎶🎸

Steely Dan is in my opinion the best band ever so, to cover a masterpiece like Josie takes a lot of work, skill and delicacy. excellent Martin, the band is truly flawless. That baritone solo by Lettieri with that backing on the drums by Lehrmann is one of the funkiest things I've ever seen...
Mr Lehrmann on drums is right on point despite obviously dropping in from his day job at the delicatessen. Reminds me of that weedy little guy on bass at my brother's wedding, who looked like an accountant (big '90s glasses and all) but tore up I Wish like a boss.

Pretty sure the drummer Felix Lehrmanm. haven't seen him in a while. German drummer played for Meinl for a while. The dude is dope. One of the things I love about him is he has some funky ass pocket beats.
