The music choice is very good. A little piano jazz works well. I like that its very much in the background. I am an Neanderthal and would have made it louder. I still think you need to pause, let the music drift by, while the story stops to take a moment, look about, stare into the distance and then resume the narration. It will give the video time to breathe and give the impression of size, scale and depth.
Have you tried adding atmospheric sounds? Environmental stuff to make it more immersive: birds, running water, buzzing bees. Just barely audible. That would improve the video. Its not cheesy. It is (in my not terribly humble opinion) needed. All the best (as ever your pontifical supporter, you do you, ignore my pompous prattling). Oh and again the ending is excellent. Full of charm and character and humour. The video should have opened that way too.
Some of the video work is but I actually research and write all of these. This just happened to be the path I went down in this particular video. I’ll definitely look into Charles Ritz. Appreciate the feedback

I’ve thought about adding other sound to the videos but haven’t decided to go there yet.
