Beautiful video. I was born in Germany, Weisbaden, but moved to the states when I was quite young. This film makes me want to get back to my birth country and explore some fly fishing.
Thank you so much Patrick! It’s little positive notes like this that keep me wanting to create more! Appreciate a great deal. Thank you and please do share the film with friends 🙏
Cheers David! Thanks so much. After Kirill showed me a few pics of Ireland I cannot wait to visit there one day! Have a great weekend and tight lines to you too.
Really something magical about it, thanks so watch for watching. Look forward to sharing more fly fishing and other nature focused films with you in the future. All the best, cheers.

You deserved that big brown. This film was better than I thought it was going to be. Great work in all realms brother. I really enjoyed that. Keep that rod bent!
Really appreciate that Henrik! Glad you enjoyed it and even more happy that you took the time to comment it. Means a lot in this day and age. Have a great week!
Thank you Björn! Wow I cannot wait to visit your country both for fishing and just exploring in general. Thanks again for the kind words. Have a lovely week!
We’re all just little boys and girls playing in the streams, creeks, and rivers searching for Peace ☮️🎣 On Earth 🌏 Thank you for creating this short film and sharing your Peace ☮️🎣 I am in Raleigh North Carolina, you have found paradise 👍😎
What an awesome way to put it. That sentence will stay with me for the rest of my life. Really. Wonderful. Thank you for your comment and for you kind words. Glad you enjoyed the film.
Thanks so much Leslie. A big part of what I wanted to convey with the film is a feeling rather than just showing the place off. Kirill’s feeling towards the environment. The feeling of the air you breathe on the river. The excitement you feel when you come across a big fish. Really happy it managed to convey some of those feelings to you. Have a great week.
Thanks so much William! The idea for this channel is not purely fly fishing, it will become a place for all our short film work that relates to the outdoors or positive environmental impact. So not constant content, but hopefully more meaningful stuff. You may also enjoy my short short “The Thoughts of a Fly Fisher” on this channel. Excellent filming. Take care of this creek. It's to beautiful and natural to be "overwalked" by more anglers. This creek is not a pearl, it's a 100 carat diamond. Like I said, take care. Greetings and tight lines 🎣 from the Čech Republic 🇨🇿.

Thank you! One day in the not too distant future I will start hitting down ideas and thoughts of a lengthy tour of the US with a fly rod. You have just ensured that Pennsylvania will be researched too :). Looks like a truly immense amount of outdoor adventure to be had so I’m not sure where the plan will start but wow it’s an exciting prospect! Have a great week. Cheers
That means a great deal Kevin, thank you so much! The next fly fishing film being worked on in South Africa is going to be longer so you will have your wish there... Cheers!

That’s one of the best compliments I have ever received. Thank you so much! Looking forward to sharing a lot more as I focus more on short stories. I don’t plan the channel to be fly fishing content only, more content that speaks to love of the natural environment. So if that is you thing please do stick around! Have a great week. Cheers.

So please check us out there too! Thanks for the supports! Cheers.
That’s a good question! I remember so clearly the first time I caught a brown trout in a tiny backwater stream in my home country South Africa (where brown trout are rare) with the first fly I had tied myself. Will never forget that moment. That nymph is stored safely waiting to be glued to a print of a pic of that fish and mounted above a fly tying table when I eventually find a place with enough space for one.
The last fish was a specimen for the water. Wow, what a beautiful fish. It's so sad what could have been if we preserved the natural wonders we had. We have suffered so much of the same, natural trout populations practically vanishing here in the USA where I am. We still have places where they have repopulated in the Western US and parts of the NE. But it's rare and where I live it's almost nonexistent. Brook trout are the natives of Pennsylvania and you'd be hard pressed to catch any over 8 or 9 inches in all of Pennsylvania that are native fish. You may be able to find some of that size who are reintroduced. But that's about it, anything better is probably owned by private owners. All the other water has been destroyed by farming and deforesting, it can only sustain trout temporarily. Almost all the fish we have are stocked by the state. Keep that beautiful stretch of water alive and well, friend.
What an unexpected treat to see this...amazing job! I guess my UA-cam searches for my next fly rod led this to my recommended list. Do you like your GR60? I have the Greys GR80 on my short list for a 4wt.
Thank you, glad your searches led you here haha! I’ve asked Kirill to come answer your question because it’s his rod but I can say this. I used it for a couple of days while on the stream and now I have one on my wish list! Couldn’t believe how that tiny rod could fling flies around. Great for those conditions with lots of overhang.
