  • Nitto Mud Grapplers are known for being noisy and not lasting as long as less aggressive tires. This video gives details on the Mud Grap Howl at various speeds and touches on how to make them last longer. Have you seen my first Mud Grappler video from 2014 on my Chance Pugh channel?

      If you get big enough tires any tires will based on weight and rolling mass but these tires don’t do any more damage than any other tire the same size and weight. These are the most perfectly round yet aggressive mud tires I’ve been able to find. The make noise because they have space between the tread whereas some tires are just choppy and loud

    I use to watch you when you had that f150. And it was straight piped and at one point had cherry bomb glasspacks. I watched all them videos cause I use to hav a 98 f150 4.6. Sold it at 275k miles. I hav an 01 f150 now but it's my daily v6 5speed. I also hav a 7.3 6speed now and 89 5speed bronco.
    Really thinkin bout getting mud graps.

      That’s awesome man! I hope to buy my original f150 back one day if I can find it and fix it up. I have mid grapplers on my 95 Bronco now and in my experience they last the longest if you rotate them often and keep the psi and you alignment right. With all that they really last a while for what they are. The bigger you go the worse your mpg would be. I’d say stick with 33s or 35s instead of 37s or bigger if you are worried about mpg. The look and sound is worth it to me and I still love them. Hard to say exact numbers because people use them differently. Mine last forever because I have a daily driver

      I love the sound lol

      I personally feel that if you like the look and sound enough to get mud Graps it’s worth it to get a set run them for 20k miles and then sell them because they resell for a decent amount and then you can either get them again or go with something less aggressive if you didn’t like them.

      37s are usually pretty big for a Silverado because of the wheel wells. Do you already have mud Grapplers because not all brands 37s are actually 37in tall. 38x15.50s would be massive and look great if you can clear them

    • @GRAPPAHOLICS
      @GRAPPAHOLICS  2 роки тому

      I have a 1995 bronco now with these tires in 33x13.50r15 and was putting 100 miles a day on them for the last few months. They tend to last longer on lighter rigs like a jeep but will get some noticeable wear sooner than something like an all terrain or even a slightly less aggressive mud tire like a trail grappler. I usually run mud Grapplers for 20k miles or so and resell them while they still look good to get a new set. Driving smoothly as opposed to flooring it everywhere seems to help them last longer also
