    top notch info. Are you using Suffix 8/32 braided dead core....I think it goes deeper.

    Each color of lead core is 10 yards NOT feet. Each 30ft/10 yards of lead core will put a bait down 5 feet. If you have 4 colors of lead core out , you have out 120 feet of lead core not including your leader length. Do yourself a favor and make it simple and use a line counter reel so you don't have to remember colors. A double "Uni Knot" is more practical to join lead core and your flouro-carbon leader as the swivel is awkward to pass through the rod's guides. If you are running a crank bait with lead core, you must add the diving depth of the crank bait at the length of the leader. Crawler harness run level without a diving depth.

    Great info good job one question the leader length is not mentioned was wondering what length because that length will effect the depth too right

    When you say four colors is that in the water or to the rod tip?

    • @BBBYpsi
      @BBBYpsi 6 років тому

      That would be the lead core color line.

      So when you say four colors of lead is 20 ft is that four colors in the water or the fourth color ending at the rod tip?

    many thousands of dollars worth of equipment and gadgets all for a limit of 2or 5 walleyes, totally critical

    Didn't realize walleye had teeth.

    I stopped watching at 2:37 because you handled the walleye by the gills then let it go. That walleye will die in a few hours. Very few live after handling them like that. All these experts out there fishing most do this. If you handle it by the gills like that keep the dam fish & have it for dinner with the family. It is gonna die anyways.

      He was behind the gill plate, not in the gills. You have no idea what you’re talking about. That fish is fine.

      No idea what you are talking about, just like your reply above this one.
