great job snorkers! cracking additions, changing the color of the cooked sausages and the sound, and the time limit countdown. bangers, moving to different locations, everything is brilliant. this is the best channel on youtube.
Fantastic!!! Funny humor, interesting explanations about the game and how you improved it, and lots of stuff I never knew about sausages! Very well done @WhatHoSnorkers 😀
Met is Dutch for with. So a metworst is bascially a with sausage. What the sausage is with is anybody's guess, and is considered the last great conundrum of the kingdom of the Netherlands.
Like so many things in the Netherlands. As Mr Michiel Kroder once said "What two people are doing in a rubber dinghy or sausage factory is no-one's business but their own..." Local Dutch Sausage Facts!
That's a good shout... all that would need to change would be one DATA statement, and a bit of code to make the sausage white (INK 7) if we're on country 12! I've had black, white AND red pudding when I was there for a wedding. Lovely stuff. Glad you liked it!
@@WhatHoSnorkers old language development is something I've always had a distant interest in, but don't think I'll ever dip my toe in after trying dosbox assembly, so its cool seeing people effortlessly bring life to the old gear. On the topic of the varying difficulty vs frustration curve with later levels, you could change the amount of sausages/cooking time to add variety, or flash a small part of the frying minigame to show what part will heat up next. Though not sure about the feasability of it on the limited hardware!
The issue I had was with memory. This was a 16K game, which means you only have 9K available to work with.... 7 K being taken up by the screen. With the map it was jam-packed full! Good ideas though. Making it so the hot spot didn't move until you got to it made a huge difference!

Thank you so much. Often it's just simple ideas that add the most!
Definitely the most I've ever learned about sausage in any given 18 minute timespan, thanks Snorkers!
You are very welcome! It was lovely exploring the different meat cylinders of our chums in the EEC!
I certainly wasn't expecting Sensible Sausage: European Champions!
A contintent spanning culinary odyssey!
Nice subtle Snorkification this one, that improves things nicely. Almost an educational title now!
Yeah! Just a sprinkle of herbs and spices, and a reason to clear more than one loop!
Glad you liked it!
I wasn’t expecting the comment “intestinal aroma” and will look to include that in my everyday conversations from now on
It's very apt with those particular sausages. My in-laws love them! It put me RIGHT off though... that and they're very CHEWY.
This video was so much fun! I can't wait to see what’s next! It's so original! It reminds me of shows I would watch as a kid on TV.
Thank you sir! Educational sausages.... hopefully you'll enjoy the Christmas Spectacular too!
so much fun as always, and some very nice new touches to a game. Gotta admire your willingness to have a stab at foreign words and phrases :-D
The power of Google translate.... and patience. It's important to respect other nations and their desires for 20 sausages!
Glad you liked it!
I enjoyed this video more than I should have.
Who doesn't love a video stuffed to bursting with the finest European sausages?
Fantastic!!! Funny humor, interesting explanations about the game and how you improved it, and lots of stuff I never knew about sausages! Very well done @WhatHoSnorkers 😀
Thank you! I stumbled across it, thought it looked fun... and it was! And I do like a good sausage...
Oh man this was no mere snack of a video it was a veritable FEAST!
276 sausages, and that's if you don't drop any on the floor!
That's some serious non stop sausage action!
Every country's sausage tells a story!
Just fantastic.
It's amazing what you can do with 16K and an attic full of tat!
cracking video Snorkers. I've always said "a watched sausage never rolls"
They know if you're watching them.... you can spend ages waiting, and then the phone rings and they burn!
How to turn a game into a sausage/language essay! Great work here!
Thank you! I was looking for inspiration, then it came. Then I thought "I'm going to need to dress up as everyone in the EEC aren't I? SO BE IT"
:)
Nice one Snorkers! Well executed, prepared and cooked 🤣
Cheers! If I left it any longer I'd have had to put bacon around all those sausages!
genius. this made me google the history of sausages
Huzzah! Then I'm doing my job. Sausages are great. Especially with a bit of bacon wrapped around them!
@@WhatHoSnorkers you are correct ! :D
Superb! Great fun 🙂🙂
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
And another Masterpiece, Señor!!! Well done😊
Thank you! It has Spanish (Spain) subtitles too!
@WhatHoSnorkers ¡Viva VIIIIIIIIIIIVAAAAAAAA!

One thing I could suggest for ireland - Ispíní or our white pudding, to keep things local. Very entertaining video though, glad i found it on bsky

@@WhatHoSnorkers yeah, I can't even wrap my head around working with just 16k!
When you start running short of memory, odd things happen. Like the keyboard won't let you type. Or you can't enter a line. Or it BUZZES at you!
Amazing and learnt a bit about sausages and coding... Amazing
And all in 16K Daph!
Mmmm ... Sausage sampler.
The finest sausages from across the Continent!
So it’s a Snorkers Snorkefied game about snorkers?! Snorkers!… Ss…snorkers… snorkers? Snorkers.
It's Snorkception is what it is!
Sausage fest!
It's always a sausage party at Snorkers Snack Bar!
German sausages are the wurst.
Badum! Tiss! :)
