Just wow 💯💕
Road To Perdition at 32???
So this movie would be objectively considered among the top 35 greatest movies of all time???
LOOOOOL!! It's a completely forgotten movie, very few know about it, how can it be put in this list???
If it's objective, where's Parasite And Once Upon A Time In Hollywood???

For Sure
Amazing movie
Eyes Wide Shut, underrated masterpiece.
True
Yup
...absolutely ! - I also missed one of my alltime favorites "Lawrance of Arabia", a film explaining the foundations of many Arabic worlds now, from the perspective of 100 years ago.... - a masterpiece of landscape filmography and Omar Sharifs ( R.I.P. ) best role ever. Only now I know the political impact and influence of Britain backthan, sabotaging a Siemens built railway connection from Istanbul to Mekka - all packed into a "personal hero thriller " like no Chuck Norris, James Bond could ever have managed.

This List Should Be Titled Top 20 Greatest American Movies Of All Time.
America makes the Best movies
@TheNabOwnzz wtf not masterpiece, stupid
@@JudgeHolden2003 not really
@TheNabOwnzz wrong boyo
@@JudgeHolden2003 nah. It makes more great movies than any other single country because it makes the most movies. However, the best foreign films are easily on par with even the very best American films, and are more deserving of being on this list than some of those that are. Lawrence of Arabia, Oldboy, A Clockwork Orange, Ran, Das Boot, Seven Samurai, Once Upon a Time in the West etc. I mean, it's not like there aren't any on there already, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is a foreign film.
I have never seen such an amazing film since I saw The Shawshank Redemption. Shawshank encompasses friendships, hardships, hopes, and dreams. And what is so great about the movie is that it moves you, it gives you hope. Even though the circumstances between the characters and the viewers are quite different, you don't feel that far removed from what the characters are going through.
It is a simple film, yet it has an everlasting message. Frank Darabont didn't need to put any kind of outlandish special effects to get us to love this film, the narration and the acting does that for him. Why this movie didn't win all seven Oscars is beyond me, but don't let that sway you to not see this film, let its ranking on the IMDb's top 250 list sway you, let your friends recommendation about the movie sway you.
Set aside a little over two hours tonight and rent this movie. You will finally understand what everyone is talking about and you will understand why this is my all time favorite movie.
Honestly , they don’t make movies like shawshank redemption anymore :(
There is none better movie than The Shawshank Redemption.

The fact that seven samurai is not on here is a crime
true
It's VERY hard to argue with this list. Sort, the order can be debatable but EVERY film on here is worthy.
Not all of these are worthy.
Star Wars and lotr were not worthy in my opinion and where the hell is raiders of the lost ark, inception, one flew over the cuckoo's nest etc. and what the hell is the social network doing here.
I think Star Wars was worthy but definitely not top 5, also lord of the rings is overrated, there should of been Godfather part2 in the list as well
@@astukokiotili5496 No, the Lord of the Rings is not overrated. And the Godfather Part 2 shouldn't be here.

Interesting list. I see you’re a big Hitchcock fan. I’m wondering, have you ever seen the 1963 movie “Charade?” It definitely has a Hitchcock style to it. While being very high quality.

@@omegacatdestroyer5634 Not LOTE
LOTR"
OmegaCat Destroyer56 Star Wars and Lotr are some of my favs of all time and do deserve to be on the list but the Shawshank Redemption is ten times better
Matrix deserved to be in this list
It is one of greatest revolutionary film ever made in Hollywood.
@Funk O'Matic no the problem was that they were constantly shifting between cgi and live action, especially in reloaded which made the fight scenes look awkward. Still, I applaud that they were still sticking to practical effects to some degree unlike movies right now.
thats because they want to make slow motion shots which made actors to perform using wires which became awkward. Their intention is to introduce slowmo in action sequences which worked very well and later followed by film makers around the world.
When comes to the fight in reloaded (Burly Brawl) is considered one of the greatest fights ever made in movie history besides cgi at the time it came they did good job.
In almost every movie fight scenes bad guys attack one after another on hero so that he can handle them all and when bad guys got hit, they wait for their turn to come agian. But when it comes to reloaded fight scene all agents attack from almost every possible direction. Neo has to block all of them and take some hits by them even though he is more powerful than agents. Every agent in shot tries to attack neo whereas in other film they will lay down on the ground or do shit.
Few fights like them are
Batman vs Superman warehouse scene
Watchmen rorschach escape from police scene.
It's good but not that good
Ghost In the shell was the movie that changed sience fiction not matrix
The Matrix is the best action movie of all time. Terminator 2 is not even close
Glaring omissions: Lawrence of Arabia, Taxi Driver, Vertigo, Dr. Strangelove, Blow-up, the Third Man, It’s a Wonderful Life, a Clockwork Orange
I usually agree with professional film reviewers and seasoned movie critics when it comes to lists. Though I too have my personal favorites like Groundhogs Day, It's a wonderful Life and The Deer Hunter.
