It's the best Star Wars show ever made. Everything in it looks and feels real, you can feel the complex emotions of all the characters and the purpose for which they are fighting for. It is a masterpiece.
@@MeaParvitas96 that is what makes this series unique, they aren't trying to cash out on previously established superhero stuff. Andor tells it's story from the perspective of it's characters emotions and who seem to fighting for the same cause in various places and I absolutely love it.
Without a doubt, the best thing that Disney has done this year, it feels different, it is well built, the characters and their performances are incredible, it is audiovisually great in direction, photography, CGI and music, and impeccable tension management, perfect? no, it has its flaws, excellent? of course, will they manage to do something like this again? I don't know, but as long as it's half as good as Andor, I'm happy
I'd even argue it was the best show Disney has put together in general for the audience group it targetted, let alone star wars as a whole. The only release that compares is Rogue One (for obvious reasons). Bravo Disney and team, y'all killed it. I need more.
For those who call this show boring, I don't know what to tell you but say you are missing out on something special. To me I have never felt a show so deeply and personally as this show is a very long time. I get Star Wars is to entertain like it was in the beginning with its roots in Flash Gordon but George Lucas always envisioned this series into something deeper and more methodical than the movies series offered and I feel Andor has finally captured that. You have to be patient but you are rewarded with some of the best Star Wars that has ever been put to screen.
Having seen all of Andor, it is truly one of the best star wars project in its 40+ history! From its writing, to acting, and of course, cinematography, everything is top notch! Great video edit, and looking forward to the next one!
Definitely. Easily and by far the best live action Star Wars series. Not that there was much competition though. And up there close to The Clone Wars and Rebels as series overall. I hope The Bad Batch keeps being that good until the end.
What an incredible masterpiece of a show. It saddens me that people talk down on it, because it encourages Disney to continue spewing out generic nostalgia-bait trash like Boba Fett
The eye of Aldhani and the aerial shot of the 7-sided prison when our heroes were leaping to their freedom far below - will be forever burned into my memory. What is even more amazing is that all of the many beautiful shots in Andor are purposeful. They are there to further the story and stir our emotions.
That meteor shower scene, with the amazing lead up to it and the score, with the the best visuals I've seen on any screen in a long time, was probably the best small screen moment for me easily in the past ten years. And the complexity of the characters in Andor - which carries through from Rogue One - provides the best drama in any Star Wars series. K2SO and B2emo are also the most lovable droids in the franchise.
i want to watch all of andor on an imax screen so BADLY, but especially the eye of aldhani. the first time i watched it, i think i cried. it’s just so beautifully done, it still leaves me breathless. and jealous of a fictional planet’s fictional astronomical event
Goosebumps the entire time watching this vid; what an incredible show. In as much as it wouldn't exist without the OT, it surpasses it and everything else in the SW canon thus far. Not just a great SW show, it's one of the best shows in any genre I've seen in quite some time.

As much as Andor stayed with me, could I ever sit through it again? There are so many phenomenal small screen stories, especially in Britain. Star Wars fans just seem like they’re stuck in a very small hollow nerdy bubble so all their frame of reference just comes from disney or marvel. So when they’re presented with quality they act like it’s the best series ever made It’s brilliant, but small screen quality like this isn’t new
Andor is everything I’ve ever wanted from Star Wars and more. Everything-the visuals, the music, the dialogue-comes together so perfectly. It immerses the audience in the majesty of its world and the lives of its characters with an unparalleled finesse.
The eye of Aldhani is the most beautiful shot in this show, Narkina 5 storyline is amazing SW-analogy of Shawshank redemption. Thank you Amazing shots for my wish video. ❤️
This makes me sad at the thought that we would have to wait 2 years to see season 2, and that it would be the last :( And at the same time, this makes me want to watch the entire series again
Same as with Season 2 of House Of The Dragon and Season 5 (final season) of Stranger Things, but at least Season 3 of The Mandolorian is coming out in February 2023
Everything, from the cinematography, costume design, set design, writing, casting, and direction should be commended for making this series as good as it is.
Not gonna lie this show was a very pleasant suprise. Almost had a 70s feel to it, especially with the prison storyline feeling like Logan's Run or (maybe intentionally) THX 1138. Quite sophisticated in terms of writing to.
This show was an absolute masterpiece... in every regard. Clearly the unadulterated, visionary work of the shows creator... and not some Frankenstein's turd of a monster cobbled together by a committee of hacks and accountants trying to appease all markets and audiences. Everyone at the top of their game... actors, cinematography, music all smashing it home because of the supreme written words they were given to work with. I've loved Star Wars ever since I saw the original trilogy in cinemas as a young child. And in my own opinion, this is the best Star Wars we've had since then. I enjoyed the prequels trilogy, HATED the sequels trilogy, LOVED Rogue One and really like the Mandalorian. But Obi Wan was a massive disappointment and Boba Fett was all over the place. Both of those shows had good moments but can you imagine how much better they could have been? Both them AND the sequel trilogy if they were up to this quality? I'm not saying all Star Wars needs to be the same and made by the same people... different strokes for different folks and everyone's taste is different. But to me, Andor has set the bar and there is NO reason whatsoever that it can;t all be this good in it's own way. Not only is Andor my favourite Star Wars of all time, but it's also my favourite TV show since the reimagined Battlestar Galactica. Anyway... I love your montage/edit here and think it would make an excellent trailer for the show. 👍
Appreciate the explanation. Although I disagree a bit. I think the first half of the series is not very good although the second half is amazing in all regards. It's my favorite live action Star Wars series by far. I don't think the others were any good. Not even The Mandalorian, which is pretty bad in my opinion.
I just thought of something. Almost every episode has an amazing shot that feels iconic. Meanwhile in shows like Kenobi there is only like 2 shots that I remember
And not just scenery, great shots of Cassian, Mon, Syril, Luthen, etc that say so much about their characters. There's real depth and it places you in the characters world.
It speaks to this show's greatness when I felt a warm feeling with every shot presented in this compilation. It's only been a little over two months since the first episode, and it feels like I have known these characters, these places, and the music for my entire life... much like the original trilogy :) I haven't felt this way about Star Wars for a long time outside of Clone Wars

Andor was not just amazing star wars - it was just good, period. The intersection of great actors being empowered with an amazing script, an actual plot, great direction and story telling - resulted in this masterpiece. This video just shows off some of the incredible imagery and cinematography - also highlighting some of the great characters and acting.
It's crazy how good this show looks! From simple shots, such as the prison cells on Narkina 5, to beautiful shots, such as the Eye, this show has such a cinematic/beautiful look to it!
Thank you for this. This video allows one to truly appreciate the stunning artistic achievement that is Andor. It’s astonishing that Gilroy put together the team that could bring this to life.
Because the lack of care and heart, Andor was made because it had story that wanted to be told i the first place, not because andor was a fanservice character.
I watched the last 3 episodes two days ago, totally loved this serious, slower and character driven take, especially after having given up on Disney Wars content. Just yesterday, I was wondering if/when there would be an Amazing Shots video of it, and here you are *lol* . THANK YOU! :-)
Sadly, few people have seen Andor, and it is that I liked the protagonist so much, also the quality of the series, the story and to dazzle him is the cinematography that is great for a Star Wars series, just like The Mandalorian, Andor proves to move away from the topic of the Skywalkers and tell its own story. Up close it's the best thing Star Wars ever did.
Hot take, Andor is the best Star Wars content period. It may not be as nostalgic or groundbreaking as the Original Trilogy, and it may not be as fun and big as the Prequels, nor as Big Budgeted as the sequels, but it's the best Star Wars show out there, better than Mando, better than the Clone Wars. Its everything Star Wars should be, and I pray we get more stuff like this in the future.
Only one I feel you missed is the TIE Pilot climbing into his fighter before launching at Aldahni. That shot, with the fighter and pilot silhouetted by the shower, is one of the most beautiful shots I've seen
0:03 That moment when you put the first episode and you're not sure if you're watching "Andor" or "Blade Runner"... yes, that was my first impression 😁😁👍👍
Both Boba and Kenobi really disappointed me. I thought Mando was fun, but at times like it tried too hard to be Star Wars cramming every reference and recognizable character in my face. Andor strives to be different while maintaining the aesthetic and lore of Star Wars which truly makes this a stand out. I’ll definitely be rewatching this series in 3 episode chunks!
Mandalorian was great, until episode 2. Boba yoda should never have become the focus of the show. But also, the show destroyed itself by making up nonsense in the lore, such as bullet proof plot armor, and a "No removing helmet" mandalorian rule
@@TraceguyRune Yeah I completely agree with you. It had some great moments, especially in season 1, but characters like Peli Motto and those scout troopers joking how they can’t aim just completely taint the moment for me. It’s like they take what fans notice from previous Star Wars media and just amp it to an 11 which is just too much and ends up creating a really cringy character and a not so intimidating revenant empire which disrespects Quell that those idiots killed him. Even the dark trooper dubstep music alone took me out of the scene. Mando still has a solid foundation so I hope they learn from the previous seasons going into s3 and come out with a banger
Exactly, This is the fucking good quality we were looking for. I'm fed up with the low quality of the other series. Kenobi was a mountain of garbage.Boba Fett no way. Mandalorian is at a similar level, but it doesn't have the same level of narrative quality as Andor.
@@GasparKvarta Lmao imagine calling garbage like Andor "good quality". The Mandalorian has far beter narrative quality in every single way. And plus that show doesn't put you to sleep. You Andor shills are in a complete denial
Thank you for making this video! Truly shows how much time and effort was put into this show! Already seen it twice and excited to watch it a third time!
I fully felt Andor was going to be TRASH! I had 0 expectations for it when it was announced and wasn’t excited at all. I didn’t think Book of Boba would be the greatest show ever but had high hopes for it and felt it would still be much more enjoyable to me than Andor which wasn’t on my radar.(felt like the marketing for Book of Boba was way more than what we got for Andor🤔)😂 I couldn’t have been MORE wrong😅! Andor is now my favorite Star Wars show ever now. Animated or live action. I like it even more than most of the movies. It’s just some of my new favorite Star Wars media. Now it’s right on par with Clone Wars for me. I still love and can’t wait for the new season of the Mandolorian. Which I feel is still a very well done show that essentially saved and revived live action Star Wars content for many in this era . The Mandalorian is the more general type of heavy action bug money maker show you need. But Andor is the show that reeeeallly puts you on the map and gives your franchise respect as peak media. I didn’t even bother watching the premiere until later in that week when I heard it was actually good and I’ve been totally hooked ever since. Fully expected this to be another boring cash grab show and didn’t even bother trying to follow it but I can honestly say that after just the premiere episodes I knew I was completely wrong. This is the show that both Star Wars fans AND people who have never liked Star Wars can LOVE!😄
When there's too much marketing and communication about a movie or show, it's usually because the show is really bad and they want to push people to watch it so the financial dammage is limited
Even more beautiful than the shots It's the best live action SW script since The Mandalorian, I expected nothing less from those responsible for Rogue One.

Andor is always serious, that's what I love. But, mandalorian is good too, can be kinda over the top some times
As much as I love this show, I wish it never happened because Star Wars will never match this again
Andor is a legendary masterpiece, and is the best Star Wars.
i'm crying.... thanks for this series
My favorite Star Wars show by far, and I'm a Mando fan. OT fan too. But this is on another level.
This show.... oh my god!!
The Eye was probably the most beautiful and visually striking episode I have ever seen in the world of Star Wars!!!
Beautifully put together.
best star wars show, hands down
Seeing tears, the most awesome Star Wars ever
Why can't all Star Wars shows be like this??
Because the lack of care and heart, Andor was made because it had story that wanted to be told i the first place, not because andor was a fanservice character.
what a show.
A boring show
It's simply art. Beautiful 😍
Ya this show is the best looking Star Wars show
I watched the last 3 episodes two days ago, totally loved this serious, slower and character driven take, especially after having given up on Disney Wars content.
Its the perspective shots man...the perspective shots that makes us feel we are into it.
Wtf?! a tear appeared? ! That's how i liked this show, i guess.
I just realized, Andor episode 1 begins with a shot of Cassian walking from behind. The same episode ends with a shot of Andor walking from the front.
Only one I feel you missed is the TIE Pilot climbing into his fighter before launching at Aldahni. That shot, with the fighter and pilot silhouetted by the shower, is one of the most beautiful shots I've seen
such an amazing show
Lots of symmetrical polygons framed in the center. Beautiful
literally binged watched this show. absolutely love this freakin show, it is peak star wars
I've rewatched it multiple times. Each time I find new layers. It's so rich.
0:03 That moment when you put the first episode and you're not sure if you're watching "Andor" or "Blade Runner"... yes, that was my first impression 😁😁👍👍
I loved ever minute of this show, definitely tailored to my sensibilities
Wow! This - as the series - is art!
1:29 this right here. i can't stress enough how much i love this shot
Epic! The feels, the feels...
Wonderful compilation of a gritty, real and exquisitely beautiful show.
I think we need a part 2. This is amazing, its a near perfect show.
One of the best things star wars has ever gave to us
I saw a fella posted a comment saying the show feels more HBO than Disney+. I agree.
the death star scene is shot for wallpaper purposes for sure
And on the ohter hand you have one take studio background vader vs kenobi, goofy ahh leia chase scene and a overused deepthroat of tatooine
Much like Zach Snyder's work, I really love how they shot every scene like it was straight out of a graphic novel.
“ANDOR is a George Lucas Tradition”
“ANDOR is a Masterpiece”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
👍👍👍👍👍
10/10
Mando still has a solid foundation so I hope they learn from the previous seasons going into s3 and come out with a banger
thought this video might be a little long but nope it’s just that Andor had that much good content
It's the most visually striking show.
This is the Battlestar Galactica (2003) of Star Wars and that's some high as hell praise.
This is to Star Wars to what house of the dragons was to games of thrones.
Both being borefests
@@darknemessis6880 if you are a 8 year old child who only wants lightsabers and jedis, of course.
Exactly, This is the fucking good quality we were looking for. I'm fed up with the low quality of the other series. Kenobi was a mountain of garbage.Boba Fett no way. Mandalorian is at a similar level, but it doesn't have the same level of narrative quality as Andor.
@@DavidArriola Lightsabers and jedi is what Star wars is and had always been about moron. A 8 years old has more tastes than a fanboy like you
@@GasparKvarta Lmao imagine calling garbage like Andor "good quality". The Mandalorian has far beter narrative quality in every single way. And plus that show doesn't put you to sleep. You Andor shills are in a complete denial
Thank you for making this video! Truly shows how much time and effort was put into this show! Already seen it twice and excited to watch it a third time!
Andor was refreshingly really good! Not like peak television but I still enjoyed it.
I was so hoping the shot of the Ferrix citizens walking towards the imperials would show up
absolutely brilliant show and brilliant montage sir, thank you. the cinematography and cgi was next level in this series.
Oh man, where's the TIE Pilots getting aboard his fighters, that for me is the best shot of the series
I fully felt Andor was going to be TRASH! I had 0 expectations for it when it was announced and wasn’t excited at all. I didn’t think Book of Boba would be the greatest show ever but had high hopes for it and felt it would still be much more enjoyable to me than Andor which wasn’t on my radar.(felt like the marketing for Book of Boba was way more than what we got for Andor🤔)😂
I couldn’t have been MORE wrong😅!
Even more beautiful than the shots It's the best live action SW script since The Mandalorian, I expected nothing less from those responsible for Rogue One.
i was hoping they'd have done kenobi with such quality
Thank-you for taking the time to type out the credits in your description box. It is much appreciated.
