Great video BB, I really enjoy these. Great source of info for someone back into collecting after 25 years off.. Question for next week: what do you think the chances are of some Vintage collection Rogue One ships? I really love the U-wing and Tie striker, but the original Hasbro releases are so poor. Some TVC love would be amazing for either, but especially an authentic U wing with a proper interior.
Hey Tim. That carbon block Jar Jar looks awesome! You could display it in the Razor Crest when you get it. I would love a couple of the speeder bike display stands. I got two Hoth speeders in a battle pack a while ago and I've never opened them as I didn't know how to display them. A couple of them would be ideal. Keep up the great work mate. Question for next week: with the current situation of the pandemic, more and more people are getting into collecting as a hobby. Personally I have noticed prices of TVC figures on the rise. Do you think it’s almost needed that Hasbro make repacks of past figures in order to make available/ make accessible to new/existing collectors. I would personally rather pay $17 for a repake, than $60-80 for the original release. Also, do you think this affects the collectability of the TVC line. Would like to know what you think. Thanks

I recently got into collecting the vintage collection/black series figures, as well as different funko pops, and my question is have these figures just gotten a lot better as of the last couple years? I don't remember there being so many cool great looking figures, but maybe I just haven't been paying attention til now. I would also imagine that the mandalorian show being so great is a big contributor to my new hobby.

Hello again Bossk, here’s a fun question- how old were you when you first started displaying your collection? I was about five or six when I first started posing and displaying my handful of Star Wars figures in my windowsill.
Do you think we should be worried for the future of star wars figure collecting? Hasbro is very adult focused with their vintage collection and black series these days and buying their products in store is very difficult sometimes (nearly impossible outside the US). I'm 24 now and I remember how special it was to go to the stores and get a figure. And almost each year there was a new line with new cool packaging and features (loved the 30th anniversary coins). I think it's a shame kids these days won't be having that experience. What are your thoughts on this?

I know not many people have good things to say about it these days, but I think there are some pretty good figures and give it props for bringing figures back to store shelves after a decade of being absent.

My question: what are your thoughts on the animated-style Clone Wars figures? Have you incorporated any into your collection? I recently got into the Tartakovsky Clone Wars line and I really love the stylized versions of these characters, Count Dooku being a particular favorite.
Hey Bossk! I know you’ve probably touched on this, but do you think a U-Wing could be done in TVC line? It seems improbable knowing the massive size it would entail if they were to make it even remotely to scale. Really unfortunate because it is such a great ship and the kid’s version with the flimsy wings just doesn’t cut it for me. Seems like a Haslab project to me. Thanks.
I always prefer the movie/tv realistic look vs animation because I like to touch up the headsculpt with a wash to make it more realistic. So I’m hoping for a Bo Katan rendition from the show. Same thing for Ahsoka which I’ve been holding off for one with Roasio Dawson’s likeness.
Great video Tim! What is your opinion on the people that restore old toys like Kenner figures or he man figures. I personally like how they save toys that others would throw away. The only thing is sometimes they destroy parts to fix them.

Visually they looked great and I reckon they would be really popular with the collectors. I totally agree with your comments on the ability to world build with the TVC line. I follow Empire Toy Works on UA-cam and Instagram and he makes insanely good dioramas. His Rotgut Station is inspired by Star Wars and Bladerunner and it is incredible. I'd definitely recommend checking him out.

Really am going to have to second that a TVC ROTJ Palpatine would be a very nice figure to add to our collections (very much overdue ). I agree I very well could see a 3 pack of Bo Katan's Squad down the line from the Mandalorian (though can say that since the final season of Clone Wars was a success would hope to see more Clone Wars figure make their way into TVC). You know I have half a mind to get one of those sticker sheets for the old SW carry cases. Peel off the Snaggletooth name and put it over the "Zutton" name (pill) Cut it to fit precisely. That really annoys me and its likely they will put "Momaw Nadon" instead of Hammerhead which is a mistake. Probably Malakilli instead of Rancor Keeper and so on . . . groan

For those debating on which to collect.. Think of Black series as small scale Dio's.. Duels.. and one v one, show downs between good and bad guys.. this way at least i can shift my focus back to TVC and the 3.75 (pref TCW) and army build.. while having the duelists of starwars posing well. I did debate having all the Six inch mandos.. but.. they just dont fit with the 50 odd Mandalorians i already have.

Hey Bossk, I'm 90% sure that what you got there is a Galoob Micro Machines Action Fleet Bossk. If I remember right, the Action Fleet figures were slightly bigger and had some articulation while the standard Micro Machines figs were just mini statues.

Thanks for the link to Galactic Displays, I've been looking for something to bring my 5POA series Enfys Nest swoop bike up to the same height as my Legacy Collection speeder bike, so I plan to take a look for that there. Question for next week: since you have it in hand, what do you think of The Madolorian (Din Djarin) build-up pack figure as a default beskar armor Mando? Do you think the explosion damage on him is too specific to Chapter 8 and that collectors are really going to feel the need to get the upcoming "clean" beskar armor one as well?
Hey Bossk, love the videos! I find at times I am critical of myself for being an adult and still buying toys. I enjoy having them and collecting them, but sometimes feel silly being looked at walking through the toy aisle at stores. Have you ever felt similar?
Movie picks Ep 1- Updated Quigon with regular sized Lightsaber Handle finally. Ep2 - Dwarf spider Droid and vehicle reissue - homing spider droid. ep3 - Updated and improved with replacement head, Sidious focusing the Duel in his office vs Windu. ep4 - i'd let people have cantina aliens i'm not interested in. ep5 - I'd prefer more imperial officers - but Lobot works too.. though i'd like to see Ugnaunts 2 in a wave.. a pair in a 2 pack and one with a console for the freezing chamber perhaps the tech version, and the 2 pack being low level workers. ep6 - Captain REX in endor assault outfit. (and a short cartoon released where Rex finds look on endor and tells him he has some stories to share about his father) quick 2 minute clip! it'd help repair some of this anti luke bullshit feeling. Ep6 - backup is a REAL emperor figure in vintage.. something with soft goods that can sit, even if its a deluxe pack in figure with his throne or a playset.. needs to happen - perhaps even throne room playset... Rogue 1 - i'd like a re-release of all the types of troopers again - but more officers would be great too no matter who! As for the rest of the movies which ones?? :P We sure need a Jacen in six inch, perhaps after he turns.. And a Mara Jade six inch - Kyle Katarn(who got the plans without dying) Desann (Jedi knight 2) All the characters from Kotor, and Kotor 2, and some from TOR Bo-katan TCW along with female Deathwatch male/female Nightowls, and male/female Maul troopers. All the clones we didn't get from season 4-7.. and Satine Kyze ruler of Mandalore - also the first Jedi mandalorian. and General Krell, Phase 2 clone trooper with breathing gear (6x01 tcw) Clone officers of varying ranks. Quigon - TCW (non ghost) Darth Bane(prefer his real look over tcw version) and Dark Yoda. Ahsoka in Mandalorian armor- she defeated maul afterall.. does that not make her.. Mandalore? lol. Agent Kallus and the Ghost crew in vintage collection - more cartoony than their black series. (tcw style would be fine) There's my shortlist. :D
I am a TVC only collector. It is really because that is how I collected them in the 70s and 80s. I do also buy a few Marvel Legends so I go with the 6 inch there.
I’ve always been a 3.75 only collector. I wasn’t born back in the 70s, but growing up in the 00s I had so much choice between the Legacy Collection, Vintage Collection, the Clone Wars line, I quickly built up a collection of 3.75 figure that I have kept in good condition to this day (minus some helmets I had to replace and, annoyingly, one of Jango Fett’s guns). I was really happy when TVC returned since it was my favourite line and I still love it, even if the plastic feels cheaper than my old ones do in a lot of cases.

They can make tanks or small transport ships for the black series anything that’s around the size of the snowspeeder like the Naboo fighter they can make that.

I collect all the vintage and just the Mandalorian show 6” and a occasional 6” that I like. But too much product and unless your Scrooge Mcduck or lotto winner it’s just not feasible to do. But the vintage is as they make what 30-40 per year and and some play sets and vehicles so that is a doable hobby for me

Obvs, but Veers is an AT-AT Commander and they both wear the same outfit. Veers was never released by Kenner either, although the Imperial Commander used his image. I think its still ok to compare the two!

What about Bespin security guards? We need several variants of those. A white, black and Asian guard. I'm talking vintage collection first then later, black series.

That Bossk IS from Micro Machines, the Action Fleet sub-line with vehicles that folded out to play sets with little vehicles etc and some figures.

Hey Bossk, how's it going? Question for a future video. How would you feel about d a Commando Droid (the ninja-like ones) in TVC? I know there is the Hostage Crisis pack that has 2, but a super detailed/articulated version would be amazing as well, those guys were awesome on the Clone Wars.

I started as a 6” TBS collector but after I got my hands on the TVC Galaxys edge FALCON I am going to make a large coffee table case display with the Falcon. Just started selling my sealed TBS. Thanks for the link to Galactic Displays, I've been looking for something to bring my 5POA series Enfys Nest swoop bike up to the same height as my Legacy Collection speeder bike, so I plan to take a look for that there. Question for next week: since you have it in hand, what do you think of The Madolorian (Din Djarin) build-up pack figure as a default beskar armor Mando? Do you think the explosion damage on him is too specific to Chapter 8 and that collectors are really going to feel the need to get the upcoming "clean" beskar armor one as well?
Hey Bossk, love the videos! I find at times I am critical of myself for being an adult and still buying toys. I enjoy having them and collecting them, but sometimes feel silly being looked at walking through the toy aisle at stores. Have you ever felt similar?
Movie picks Ep 1- Updated Quigon with regular sized Lightsaber Handle finally.
Ep2 - Dwarf spider Droid and vehicle reissue - homing spider droid.
ep3 - Updated and improved with replacement head, Sidious focusing the Duel in his office vs Windu.
ep4 - i'd let people have cantina aliens i'm not interested in.
ep5 - I'd prefer more imperial officers - but Lobot works too.. though i'd like to see Ugnaunts 2 in a wave.. a pair in a 2 pack and one with a console for the freezing chamber perhaps the tech version, and the 2 pack being low level workers.
ep6 - Captain REX in endor assault outfit. (and a short cartoon released where Rex finds look on endor and tells him he has some stories to share about his father) quick 2 minute clip! it'd help repair some of this anti luke bullshit feeling.
Ep6 - backup is a REAL emperor figure in vintage.. something with soft goods that can sit, even if its a deluxe pack in figure with his throne or a playset.. needs to happen - perhaps even throne room playset...
Rogue 1 - i'd like a re-release of all the types of troopers again - but more officers would be great too no matter who!

I am a TVC only collector. It is really because that is how I collected them in the 70s and 80s. I do also buy a few Marvel Legends so I go with the 6 inch there.
I’ve always been a 3.75 only collector. I wasn’t born back in the 70s, but growing up in the 00s I had so much choice between the Legacy Collection, Vintage Collection, the Clone Wars line, I quickly built up a collection of 3.75 figure that I have kept in good condition to this day (minus some helmets I had to replace and, annoyingly, one of Jango Fett’s guns).
I was really happy when TVC returned since it was my favourite line and I still love it, even if the plastic feels cheaper than my old ones do in a lot of cases.

With the razor crest coming out do you think they will look at giving us more to go with it? Blurrgs, quiel, speeder bike, the mechanic from tattoine with a pit droid? I just think that it would be a small ask considering the commitment given by fans to back the razor crest? What are your thoughts ?

Can we expect a TVC 332nd trooper or Commander Doom? Both are needed in the TVC series.
They can make tanks or small transport ships for the black series anything that’s around the size of the snowspeeder like the Naboo fighter they can make that.

I collect all the vintage and just the Mandalorian show 6” and a occasional 6” that I like. But too much product and unless your Scrooge Mcduck or lotto winner it’s just not feasible to do. But the vintage is as they make what 30-40 per year and and some play sets and vehicles so that is a doable hobby for me

Obvs, but Veers is an AT-AT Commander and they both wear the same outfit. Veers was never released by Kenner either, although the Imperial Commander used his image. I think its still ok to compare the two!
