I've got a practical use for the robot!! Once you've put an arm on him have him follow James around with a fire extinguisher! And you don't even have to program it to detect fire, just have it spray James randomly. First off that is closer to Tony Stark's experience.... secondly I'm sure at least one of the times James will have actually set something on fire and it will save the day by sheer chance!
Check out some dentist assistant arms for inspiration. We have a couple flipped upside down on our robots at work, the 8 individual joints of movement means we can do all sorts
Could you guys try to make a full iron Man suit with flying tech of gravity industries , your own HUD tech and shooting tech with a miniature version of Zarya's particle cannon

I doubt you have much need for an autonomous robot. What I can see it being useful for is carrying heavy exoskeleton parts, and lifting them onto (and off) worktables/attachment points

Can't really tell if you are but you should try and do some sort of autonomous charging accessory. Like Telsa's robot snake charger so the robot can just automatically return home and top up... like a Roomba. edit: minor edit for fixing the obvious brain shutdown I had mid-sentence at one point

The 3D camera looks like an Orbec Astra - basically a kinect - so will work for an FPV camera.
