Thanks for the ideas, I am definitely going to take away some and try these in my next meals. :-)
One good trick when making sweet potato fries is to soak them for half hour in ice cold water, then rinse well and pat dry, add half tea spoon of olive oil and some spices before arranging on a baking sheet (of course you need to cut them thin as you also advised). Soaking in water washes away some of the starches which allows the fries to get extra crispy in the oven. I made some last night, they were the bomb!

Hi Mona, new subscriber here🙋🏻‍♀️. I have had digestive issues for years. No matter what I eat I get bloated. I avoid broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, brussel sprouts...I mean you name it, I have avoided but i still get bloated. I love spinach and that also makes me bloated. I have been treated for SIBO twice now. I am also taking Candibactin AR and Candibactin BR. Do you have any suggestions that might help me? I also drink mint tea. I am running out of options here.

Go vegan. Steam the veggies that way they are softened and are easily digestible. and eat only as much as you are hungry. If you are feeling bloated than you eating more food than you require. Just try reducing the quantity of your meals.

Oh my word. Holy Mona, do you realize this is around 1k calories for the day as a grown woman?! A toddler needs more than this intake. I agree plant based is 100% the way to go but this is borderline anorexia and should not be encouraged or put in a positive light. Please please start sharing videos posting more calorie intake. Perhaps I missed around the 5-700 calories (at least) more needed for intake each day. Or please share how many calories are in this video. It really can’t be more than 1100. Disappointing.

Hey Mona! I have been following you for years and love your content. However I am concerned that these are actually too few calories (coming from a registered dieticians point of view). You should also include some salt in your food as having some amount of sodium in your body is actually important as well. Counting your portion sizes and amounts would actually add up to 1300 calories!

what you should be concerned about is the adults that are so obese that they can no longer move around. so many people now are over weight that when someone doesn't eat 2000 calories in a meal than there must be something wrong. mona seams very intelligent. I am sure she can decide what is best for her.

The origin of title Dr. literally means "teacher" or "one who has achieved the highest level of their respective academia." The confusion is coming from the fact that people disregard this origin and assume that "doctor" = "physician"
Physicians with an MD are Doctors of Medicine, PhDs are Doctors of Philosophy in their respective field'
Physicians from my country of birth and other british-based countries require MBBS (Bachelors of Medicine/ Bachelors of Surgery) to practice
, so the title "doctor" is academic, while "physician" is medical, most people are just not aware of that fact.
She has a PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy). Anyone with a doctorate is a doctor

I’m fine with people doing “what I eat in a day videos” as long as they refrain from giving out nutritional advice, without being a board certified dietitian or a physician. Telling people to avoid salt is irresponsible. Sodium/potassium deficiencies can cause serious health issues. Please include disclaimers and refrain from giving out nutritional advice.
Also, where are the healthy fats and proteins?

I already know what you eat in a day, from your last 17 videos with the same title. As a vegan, what could you possibly change. Aren't vegans limited?

Rich Bailey 😳 haha... i find new recipes all the time, and living in NYC i wanted warmer meals with the cold, so thought I’d share. Who eats the same exact thing every day ?!

I’m not even vegan and I know you are not limited as a vegan. Any recipe can be made vegan.
