Rain world is my favorite game.
Not for the graphics, that would be Ori and the Blind forest.
Not for the gameplay, that would be Slime rancher.
But for the story. The story, is dark yet somewhat Sweet. Melancholic, yet bright. Such character development, as seen with pebbles. Going from an angry, frustrated god to a mere _echo_ of himself, sitting in the cold.
Such an amazing game that deserves to be more recognized. The pure sadness it can inflict, the sheer amazement you will feel.
Everything, even a small bug, to the god-like beings are a part of the cycle. The cycle of birth, death and rebirth.
As someone once said.

Every time you play, each new cycle, there will always be different events. It's such a good ai. It feels so- realistic. I love it.

This really sums up how... just down the entire game is, 2 god like beings slowly fading away, the dark void that is the sorrow and loneliness, pebbles and moon, trading fates with rivulet, really is sobering reminder that, although the efforts to help these Gods are in vain ultimately, at least they rest easy. The pebbles/Moon hugging really hurt, only to have pebbles drift away, as his structure collapsed and he... died. The soft pop at the end sealed it, the final release from the pain.

This truly... This truly makes me sad... Especially hearing... the soft pop, that kind release from the suffering...
The scene of her and pebbles hugging, finnaly frogiving eachother, that, that hit me in the feels. But what hit the hardest was the plant growing from her head. The reminder that, nothing is forever. Not even god-like iterators are.
The eeire atmosphere, with the darkness surrounding moon, showing her sadness, her desperate hopes for company. Yet it's all washed away in a moment's notice, like a wave washing away a beautifull shell on the shore, never to be seen again.

Although perhaps the new tsevelization will be our new "people" that love pearls :)

Holy shit this is good. I think you encapsulated on of the most important aspects of the: that it is about the world and not about the iterators and slugcats. They play an important role of showing the world to the player, but in the sense of the world of the game they are small and finite. And the world will continue its cycles, even if “Rainworld” is no more. “The old world is dead, long live the new one”. Simply amazing, almost made me cry and rly gave me goosebumps ❤❤

This super hits you right in the feels, the aspects of loneliness, hopelessness, and sadness is just…I’m stunned. Was not expecting such a hard-hitting feeling after watching this, but Moon’s tale is a sad one. I straight went straight faced when I saw just the snow with a sprout peeking upward…that was the one that hit. Rainworld’s storyline is just filled to the brim with emotion and I’m astounded so much I can’t put it into words what this animation gives me! Very well sums up the storyline, fantastic and incredible work well done, literally 100% guessed to make us all feel sad :,)❤. What a stunning piece of art this is, I’m taken aback.
