What a sweet sweet puppers, I'm so sorry for your loss. My dog turns four tomorrow and I cry just thinking about not having him around, so I can only imagine the sense of loss and grief your family is feeling. I wish you strength.

Laurel I am so sorry to hear about Hardy’s passing, it is soooo hard to lose a pet they bring us so much joy and unconditional Love. I am glad your family member who had surgery is getting better. Your videos are always a joy to watch. I think the sweater is great both ways, inside and rich side out, different looks for different days. I do have her book and your last episode got me to revisit it.
I have knit the anker tee and sweater. I personally think the yoke pattern is best appreciated with a solid or lightly speckled yarn I also think you are right about the Eva cardigan and Noro.

Hi Laurel, so sorry to hear of your difficulties in the last couple weeks. Hope you are able to take some time for rest and self care. 🤗 For the No Limits sweater, I say wear it however it makes you happy. Also, I like the idea of using the Noro yarn in a yoke sweater because you won’t be stressed by feeling like you have to manage the color changes. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful projects. The hand spun is so pretty and your brioche shawl is going to be lovely!

I am so sorry for the tough weeks for you and your family and the loss of a beloved pet! I hope the past days were calmer and more joyful!
I love your projects and that hand-spun yarn is stunning. I am a lot less fashion forward so I love the sweater the original intended way. Probably would frog the cardigan too, honestly based on the construction I personally have a hard time imagining what the garment would look like with the variegated yarn once it comes together. I hope you figure out what is best and most fun to you once your life calms down ❤❤❤
Sending lots of positive vibes your way!

I loved it inside out! ( I am embracing chaos lately, though....so maybe that is why it resonates😂 but, now I want to knit one! )
Oh.😢..and so sorry about your loss❤.

I think you are right about using the Noro yarn for a different project. I haven’t knit an Anker but think it would be very pretty in that yarn!

Sending love - i love the chaos sweater with either side out. Or a third option would be pulling some of the ends through to the “right” side of the fabric. You could hilight some of the colors that are being obscured on the RS currently. That might give you the best of both worlds, or it might be horrible!🖤🖤🖤🖤

I like both sides of the sweater. I guess it just depends where you are going. The right side looks classy and the wrong side looks grunge in a good way! 90’s teen here 🖤🩶🤗😂

I'm so sorry for your loss and such a hard few weeks. Your sweater is awesome any way you wear it - you did such a good job!
I would use the Noro in a circular or raglan yoke - unless you could use the second skein to color match. 🤷🏼‍♀️. Your handspun looks great 💚

So sorry to hear about your puppers. 😔 Glad your family is all well though and hold them all close!
I do like the No Limits inside out but like someone said below, maybe people might comment they think you're wearing it inside out and it seems like that could be a little annoying. But I even like the chaos ends showing, I just don't know exactly how to make it seem super intentional or else just wear it like you DGAF, hard core as hell. Maybe if you added a patch pocket, I could almost picture a bombery satin something on the sleeve or elsewear and it would be obvious 'this is the outside, this is the design'.
The colours of your new sock are so delicious next to each other!
I have major major castinitis these days, but that's nothing new. My main works are an Ember sweater (amazing pattern, so precise and so satisfying how it's coming together), a Poet sweater in Kaos Kind bright blue, a Plumette out of the just previous Laine in Ito Sensai Cherry Blossom mohair... and I'm needing to restart a Saturday Gnome Fever test knit because my stash dive was unsuccessful. And further castinitis is because I got raw silk 4plys and other natural coloured beauties at Colourmart on sale and want so much to make them into various wardrobe staples.

Sandy I’m so happy you are here I have been toying with a plumette myself so I cannot wait to see yours. I love the pocket idea that’s brilliant 🖤

I’m so sorry about your doggy. When I lost my last one, I cried so hard, my eyelashes hurt. As far as the sweater, I personally like it right side out, but you could definitely pull it off wrong side out also. Big hugs!🤗

So sorry to hear about your loss/ past two weeks…thanks for putting together this podcast … love your projects / style . I am a huge fan of edgy knits and I do think the pattern/yarn choice is edgy enough already, however I also think it depends on how you feel that day . I would frog the Eva and choose a different yarn . Follow your knitting instinct . A circular yoke may be a better choice for the yarn . Hope your next two weeks are better ..

Hi Laurel, I'm so sorry about the loss of your Hardy, they sure do leave paw prints on our hearts. I also live in the Portland area and did the RCYC and got the same yarn from Heather of hoalm. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to do a summer ranuculous or maybe an outline tee, excited to see what you choose to knit with it.

by Ksenia Naidyon but I really am not sure yet

I love the garter stitch look on the no limits sweater when inside out. In my head with the loose ends showing when worn this way, it looks like the sweater is being worn inside out. For myself, I think it would be beautiful worn this way if the ends were woven in.

Ok...I Love your no limits. Im ok with the inside out if the ends are woven in otherwise I like the right side better. Im all for the artists look but polished art even when its haphazard intentionally. I say frog it. If youve already put into your mind that its an option just frog it. I love the matchy matchy cowls for the kids. Nice bright color you can see them wherever they are. I have 2 of her cowl patterns just haven't tried them yet. Your purple handspun turned out great! It really looks good. Can't wait to see it worked up. Do you know what you are maki g with it yet? How close are you to finishing that Stephn West shawl? I don't remember the name. Oh...I did pick up the book close knit. Going to make plans for the No Limit sweater. I think it will be a black base with greens, purples and grey. What am I forgetting that I wanted to say? ... something...I forgot. Ok...hugs

Right side and wrong side. Suits you both ways. I happen to like it inside-out best but that’s probably because I’m very, very cool 😂
I say frog the Eva and knit an Anker with the Uchiwa. It’s lovely yarn and I think you’re right about its colour changes looking good with the round neck rays of the Anker. The pattern has a stepwise character to it that will jive with the colour changes.
I am so glad that your loved one is recovering now. And of course, much love to you and condolences on the loss of your lovely dog. I was never much of a dog person but my daughter has a 2 year old Sproodle and I have fallen in love with her. Hurts my heart to think we will lose her one day x

@@westmaven We do! I once finished an improvised shawl that curled so badly that it turned out like a sausage. I knew it would but did I stop? No, I did not. I could have published it as the Wurst Shawl on Ravelry.

I'm only a new knitter so my opinion may not be worth much ... but I do like the wrong side of the sweater 🤷🏻‍♀️ it has some sassiness to it and movement.
I'm so sorry to hear about your pupper... I have a 14 year old Boarder Collie and will soon have to make some hard decisions for him. Thanks for your channel, I'll definitely be a new subscriber tonight!
