Tough ride and nice video. The cleanup must be brutal after that. Question.....are you endangering the e assist motor and mechanism driving through that crud? Your full fat with e assist must be $5-6000 and it looks like it could be really damaged on these rides? Thoughts? Stay well. Hope your wife is recovering nicely.
Cleanup is fairly fast, some soap and water most times. The motor and battery don’t actually get much moisture on them as they are both about seat height and I don’t plan on getting my backside wet on purpose ever.
Did you consider a quad? I am planning on getting a full fat something. It seems like a lot of my riding will be on four wheeler type trails I'm wondering if a quad would suit my needs better or if the tadpole works in those kinds of Road conditions.
I’ve found my Full Fat goes everywhere I want to go … biggest issue with 4 wheelers trails in Alaska are the ruts. With three wheels I can keep the rear wheel and hanger for the Rohloff from getting bumped.
Thanks for sharing your adventures. Only makes me want to ride to Alaska even more. Keep 'em coming.
Thanks for the comments .. have enjoyed your cycling videos as well.

Water is coming down ... will be snow and ice soon enough.

Do you carry bear spray, you a tough man. Love your adventure
Nope … we’ve lived here for 37 years and I’ve never had an unexpected encounter with bears. Lots of moose however.
