Love my steintrike Wild One! I live in the country with lots of gravel and lots of ruts. the Wild One just smooths out the ride and is very stable. thank you Steintrike! Got mine from Alington Velo Sport in Arlington Washington.

Looks cool. I'm going to look for an assembly video and a riding one.
My Challenge (Dutch) trike is excellent, but has no suspension.

It is one of the best full suspension models. The chassis is also low and stable.
I think all models have their pros and cons.
There is one thing that I think is the downside of double wish models like Wild One.
The downside is that the steering feel is heavy.
The more the backrest is raised, the more the center of gravity moves forward, and the handle becomes heavier.
Models that use headsets do not have this phenomenon.
If you are not a person who rides with your back upright, it is not something to consider at all ^^

The design of the Wild One suspension/steering system is designed as a balanced compromise to keep it stable and predictable even at speeds over 100km/h. Unfortunately, it's not possible to make a simple mechanical design that would be equally "light" under all circumstances, with all rider's body positions, all rider's weight, and it's much more important to have a predictable steering input than a trike that would just go it's own way and feel "twitchy", especially in some critical situations :) Wild One comes with a choice of three different hardshell seat sizes, and the larger the rider, the larger the seat and the CoG of the larger seat shifts the weight backwards to keep the system as balanced as possible. Smaller riders need the smaller seats and the weight must be shifted forward to compensate for shorter X-Seam automatically shifting the weight forward, but if the seat is more reclined, some of that weight is distributed more evenly to the rear end. There is a huge variety of possible settings for everyone.

@@stein-trikes I know this because I have ridden several models.
Rod End Bearing Connector method steering has no choice but to be harder than the model using headset.
And I think the Wild One's high-speed stability is good.
Other models using Rod End Bearing Connector method are unstable at high speed.
Models using headsets also have good high-speed stability. lol
However, cattrike models and performer models are excluded hahahaha
I am currently designing a model that combines the double wish method and the headset method with Solidworks.
The design is almost complete. will be making soon
Very simple. I will upload a production video soon. Please advise. lol
It will be equipped with a 200mm spring shock with a rebound-adjustable air cylinder.
If it fails, I will buy Wild One again HAHAHAHA 🤣🤣

What is the total length of the 20 x 20 WILD ONE FAT -from the back of the rear tire to the front of the front tire with approximately how long with the boom added in on the length? It is shown to be a total of 38" wide, is this fairly close to the outer measurement of the two fat tires? I have a trike paid for on order and I want to build a structure to keep it in before it arrives, can you help me with this? Thank You.

During the process of ordering can a "Rohloff 14-speed" be ordered and can a "Pinion 18-speed" also be on the order? And can the "Vee Tire Zig Zag" tire 20" x 4" and a 26" x 4" be ordered?

I wish your suspension also tilted the wheel, too!!! Tilting would add to fast speed turns so the trike is more stable and will not flip in turn...

Im sure theyll handle the load, but heim joints aren't meant to be used/stressed like that on the steering knuckle.

Hi Matt, they are oversized in load, after 12 years in production and hundreds of sold we don’t have one problem.
