I really like that when Dr alhajji is making an informed guess on something based on gut feel rather than any real study, he just straight up says it. He does it several times here, and it really is a marker of a thinker of high quality
Is that why he always is wrong?
Dr. Anas is the Oracle of Oil! Thank you for bringing him to the show.
Great interview guys. Anas is a real expert. Thanks
At min 18:00 the reason 5mil barrels per day loss in 2019 only pushed price $20 may have been due to flexible shale reaction. Is shale still as big and flexible today as in 2019? skilled-labour shortages, dropping rig counts, financial esg constraints, industry consolidation ans bankruptcies say no
Great interview Eric, keep up the Great work your doing.
Excellent interview. Thank you.
Great interview with a truly education humble expert. I'm personally in the top 6% and with higher inflation my traveling is way down and I tend to hoard my reserves. I'm more interested in if this will happen at scale and becomes an increasing head wind for oil and especially Green energy 🔋 in the future
Not Anas Alhajji and not anybody else can claim Russian Oil doesn't go to Europe - as today the world oil market has primarily become a black market - most of its supplies are coming from war-torn nations - looted.
Actually, many think that the ongoing Ukraine war has been a pre-planned choreography to dedicate Ukrainian and Russian oil, coal and natural gas supplies for export exclusively - not sharing them or revenues from them with the commons in Ukraine or Russia.
This model was well trialled by the west decades ago with Iraq, Libya, Iran, Syria, today Sudan and tomorrow likely with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Algeria, Nigeria and so on.
A peak oil musical chairs game - if you like.
Finite fossil fuels are dangerously hypnotic to humans, their consciousness and mental capacity.
Humans were not ready morally, ethically and intellectually to start the mass extraction of fossil fuels with the advent of the steam engine 300 years ago.
The Magna Carta requires today overhauling - adding to it the right for humans to understand what Energy really is - before any other commandment;
“In any system of energy, Control is what consumes energy the most.
No energy store holds enough energy to extract an amount of energy equal to the total energy it stores.
No system of energy can deliver sum useful energy in excess of the total energy put into constructing it.
This universal truth applies to all systems.
Energy, like time, flows from past to future” (2017).
you kinda weird bro

well done Anas: an oil man who has finally recognised that chemicals exist. General principle: stuff is typically valued around its energy cost. EVs are more expensive than ICE vehicles, therefore more oil needed to make an EV. To Doomberg and I, this is obvious.
For the record Russian and Chinese ships transiting through the Red Sea are not being attacked.
Is this true??? Or just your speculation. I dont think the houthis have the technical ability to know who or what ship is transitioning through the Red Sea they are just firing at any ship they see. Please provide more information if you have evidence that they are not shooting at Russian and Chines ships.
@@user-tw2oe6zi6q information is conflicting to be honest. Hindustan times says Houthis are letting Russians transit. But other stories are saying that a Russian ship was hit. Imagine their goal is not to hit Chinese and Russian ships but achieving the goal might not be 100%. ua-cam.com/video/LJqvBVEZopA/v-deo.htmlsi=hYjFd12r7KsX-9GG
@@user-tw2oe6zi6q my last post showing conflicting information was deleted like because I added a link I think. Stories of Houthis firing at all ships and others about them saying Russian and Chinese ships can transit through. But it is complicated, for them to target, as they just hit a uk tanker which is full of Russian Naptha.
