🚄 INFORMATION KEY
Train Numbers - e.g. 43032 or 800110 - These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Multiple Units are 6 digit numbers where the first three numbers are the class of train e.g. 390154 would be a class 390. Click Here to learn more

Headcodes - e.g. 1F32 or 5M00 - These are used by the railway signallers to determine where trains are on the network. Every train within a region has a specific four code ID. Click Here to learn more
➤ en.wikipedia.o...
Set Number - e.g. WB64 or NL04 - These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.
🚄 ABOUT ME
Hello everyone, I’m StarlifeStudios and my passion is to experience and video railway stations across the United Kingdom at both small and large locations, but, with an informative twist! My videos are also designed as a historical reference for the days of the past and to reminisce about the way things were. Join me as I continue to travel and be sure to let me know if you’d like me to video at your favourite or local station.
There are a couple of specials in this one, Enjoy! 😃(No 69006 in this one)
The specials were great
They were
Thanks to the kids and teenagers, you got some horns in.
I was the one in the red shirt lol, nice video!
Hope you got some great shots 😃
Now this really takes me back! I remember standing on the down fast platform of Bushey & Oxhey as it was then known train spotting in my early teens in the late 50s, dodging lumps of coal flying off the tenders of the expresses heading north, and getting sprayed with water with the tenders spilling all over the place after having picked up water from the troughs a mile or so south. Oh how those were the days!
The OBS seen at 9:40 is a perfect example of someone who loves they're job. Great video as always!
Absolutely! I'm a big supporter of personnel/ guards on trains and safety in general on the railway. Thanks for watching 😃
Great location there at the London end of the WCML…great filming & great variety 😎👀🎉👍🏽 Naturally my favourite part was 87002 - classic ⭐️🇬🇧😎🎉👍🏽
Glad you enjoyed it EJC 😃
As my local station, it is so great to finally see a proper video done by a proper channel!
They are all proper channels. Don’t insult them for trying their best 😡🖕
No worries guys! No-one was making insults, these are all opinions! I think we just have to remember that behind every channel is a style and a personality, some like to talk and some like to stay silent but what matters is that you enjoy. Thanks.
The Watford-end of the station's slow lines (namely the curve/cant) makes for a great photo/video scene. Good job!
Absolutely gorgeous video
Brilliant as always, might have to give Bushey a try at some point in the future
Amazing
This was such a great video to watch.💕
Thanks Emma, glad you enjoyed.
Brilliant video, very pleasing to see how well your channel has developed over the years!
Thank you very much ACE! I won't lie, its taken a lot of time and work but Ill glad you recognise it 😃
Bushey is a railway station in Hertfordshire which serves Bushey and Oxhey. It is situated on the West Coast Main Line, 5 miles north of Harrow & Wealdstone, on an embankment. North of the station, the railway crosses the Colne valley on several viaducts. The station is served by London Northwestern Railway semi-fast trains on the West Coast main line, and by London Overground services on the Watford DC line, a slow local service along the West Coast route. At Bushey, this branches west on a loop to serve Watford High Street railway station, before rejoining the main line at Watford Junction.
why is this from wikipedia are you trying to be cool? LOL
I hope to fan in the UK one day, and I'm from the US. I do know a lot about UK trains, though! Keep up the nice videos!
As usual an excellent video
Thanks again! 😃
Had no idea Bushy is also the main link for London Overground services to Watford Junction. InterCity Swallow has returned, the class 87, MK3 set and MK3 DVT looks and sounds epic speeding through. Outstanding film :-)
Great railway video
Great video!
I was on 710377 earlier this week. Nice to see it here lol
It’s been long since I haven’t commented on your vids I apologise to that but like always I love all the content you post to us ❤️
No problem 😊
Amazing stuff
Trainguy alt
Can’t wait to watch this
Keep up the good work dude
Thanks ET Gamer!
Rush hour was awesome
Amazing video!
Despite Bushey is mostly served by London Overground. Some London Northwestern Railway and Southern trains do stop at Bushey and Avanti West Coast trains passes through at high speed.
No Southerns at all but yeh otherwise yep
Great video
Nice one mate. This video is when felixstowe strike happens (No freight trains going to/from port of Felixstowe)
Yep! I’d of had some 90s as well if it would have ran as planned! 😞
@@StarlifeStudios Is only just London Gateway and Southampton
Very nice captures there mate. Well done 😊
Since when we’re the voyagers going from Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston at 6:49
This was an extremely rare Voyager move. Voyagers are not normally booked to Manchester but due to an issue with a Pendolino earlier, a Voyager was swapped onto this run.
@@StarlifeStudiosoh ok I was wondering btw keep the good work up on your videos
Nice video
Awesome
3:40 HOW FAST WAS THAT 350 DESIRO GOING???
More than 1mph
@@BHXplanesandtrains no shit
Quite good
Superb video pal 👌🏻 👍🏻
Any ideas if 4Y19 will run this saturday, Ben? This doesn't look like a regular runner :(
@@StarlifeStudios nope running Friday but not Saturday. Like you said it's rare to run weekends.
A 221 from Manchester to London ? Rare 6:51
I was there!
6:45 that’s rare for the Avanti 221 to be at Manchester Piccadilly
5:07 Well that was fast... (with a bonus horn)
I love it
Nice trains 🚂🚃🚃
Hey, just wondering, is there any barriers at Bushey as I am coming to it tomorrow by car, and not train, so I wanted to know if they would let me through or if there's even gates there.
If only southern services would stop at Bushey
Considering Bushey's size, i think the amount of services it has defintley could be worse...
Nice
Hey Ross, is Bushey in Hertfordshire?
When will these Southern trains are going to start heading back as far as Milton Keynes Central?
Also, Southern Railway trains *should* be to/from South Croydon
In addition, when will all Bombardier Electrostars (377/2) are going to start having 8 carriages long along the northwest, the west and the south?
Unlikely they will ever go back to Milton Keynes again. Southern has had to massively change its operating patterns across its entire route to afford the withdrawal of the 455s and its not over yet. When the 313s go, the stress will increase further. I can definitely see Southern ordering new stock within the next 5 years especially if passenger demand increases again.
they're never going back to milton keynes. they curtailed the service to east croydon in 2018 and clapham during lockdown
@@PGATProductions Why…?
@@robertmwamba4791 by now route knowledge up to milton keynes is completely gone
Cool
Can you do one on London Underground?
Did 221112 + 221108 come from Manchester Piccadilly?
Yes, very rare.
and the horn scared him again like what the 745 did
The 66s always get me! 😂
@@StarlifeStudiosme too
Hi Starlife, nice video, would you take any requests from viewers to go to some stations? Worplesdon and West Byfleet are good stations to film. Worplesdon for the long uphill and downhill of the train farther ahead and West Byfleet due to its odd but satisfying platform 3 and you can see Woking Station if camera is very zoomed in
Of course! I love to take requests 😃 I have actually looked at West Byfleet before but the strikes have really hindered me. I will see if I can make this happen this year for you FJxChilli.
@@StarlifeStudios Thanks Starlife. You don’t have to do it just for me. Whatever works for you, I enjoy your videos regardless
Yes
Can u please do trains at Birmingham New Street
i recommend going to tring as thats a really good station for train spotting plus
i had been train spotting at tring on 14/01/2023 and saw no southern trains i thought they went up to Mil' Keynes Central
and do u know what happened to London Northwestern railways class 319's as i went saturday and saw none so can u tell me any info.
Hi David, thanks for the recommendation for Tring, I will definately look into that as there aren't many on this route I haven't been to! Southern don't go up to MKC anymore due to COVID cut backs and with the 455s gone, those services will likely never return. The LNR 319s are stored at Camden Carriage Sidings on weekends and are only used in weekday morning and evenings.
@@StarlifeStudios Alright! Thanks for the info this time ill make sure ill train spot before watford jcn station. and ill make sure i travel and film near the mornings or evenings. sad that its only that.
No problem. Im more than happy to inform you of specific services 319s appear on if you inform me of when your going 😃
@@StarlifeStudios Next on the WCML im prob gonna be going to Watford or Bushey. it wont be for the next couple weeks!
