The little button in the middle is probably to increase the surface area with the frozen puck underneath. More surface area means the whiskey will chill faster. The whole thing is so extra and I absolutely love it.
Sounded good initially, but I was lost at the 87 proof. Feel like those flavors would really shine from a higher proof. I'd definitely need to try this stuff before I went out and bought it.

I thought that glass was for a spherical ice to roll around the bottom. I have one myself, and I think I remember something about that on the box.
