  • My wife and I are recreational crabbing for blue crabs and we're catching a lot of male crabs over 5". One measures out to be the biggest crab we've ever caught. We have plenty to eat and we've reset our traps in hopes of catching more. Let's go crabbing. #outdoors #crabbing #bluecrab

We only keep enough crabs to eat or give to our family and friends. I'm concerned about our crab population. A friend was telling me, SCDNR has been doing studies on our crab population over the last 20 years and the blue crab population continues to decrease each year.

Taking the time to watch this longer video tonight and wanted to tell you I thought about you guys this morning at the beach. We had a bad storm over the weekend here and there was a crab trap washed up with some BIG stone crabs in it. They were still alive so I called the park toll booth and a ranger came out and let them out. I hope they make it. I've learned a lot about stuff I've never been acquainted with from you two! Thanks for the education!😊❤️
