great video. do you get all your designs from Cricut workspace? I have a brother scanNcut and they do not have a large selection of designs. I loved the ones you used of the succulents but I haven't been able to find similar ones.
@@YvonneCeramics thank you. I have purchased some designs on Etsy but having a problem. I bought cricut vinyl but wondering if I have the wrong vinyl. is there a specific one I should buy or are the cricut ones all the same - just different colors?
@@YvonneCeramics Hi, I'm having trouble getting the video thumbnail to show. It would be really great if you could do a quick follow up video showing these 2 pots after they are fired in detail. Thank you so much for showing your process, this is a really great tutorial!
I have only used Cricut’s vinyl so I couldn’t compare. I found that if your design has thinner lines, it is easier to bend and adhere to clay as compared to designs with bigger area of vinyl. Hope this helps!
Great video! I just started experimenting with this method. Would you mind sharing what type of cricut vinyl are you using? I think they have a lot of types of vinyl. ❤
Thank you for demonstrating this technique in so much detail. Your planter designs are really lovely.
Thank you for your kind words 🙂
Thank you so much for this tutorial!

Sometimes I draw my own design and sometimes I buy the digital files from Etsy. You can definitely look around and find the ones you like.

Sorry if you mentioned this but do you use permanent or removable vinyl?
I use removable vinyl.
Which model of Cricut are you using for this? 😊
I have the Cricut Explore air. But you should be able to use any model or machine that can cut vinyl.
Can you post what they look like after being fired
It's on the cover of the video thumbnail

what type of vinyl works best when adhering to pottery?

Are the designs free once you purchase the machine ?
You can find many designs on Cricut Design Space and there's a subscription to it
Selecting images is important. 🤔
Very true 👍🏻
This would have been a lot easier if you had weeded properly and used transfer tape to adhere to your pots.
Thank you for the great tip 😊
How did she not weed it properly?
I love the process ❤ but thanks for sharing
