THIS GUY IS A BEAST HAND DOWN✊🏽
Die hard rugby did a video on Damian Willimse that you guys need to react to

Hi guys, just wanted to clarify, there is a provincial level, in South Africa Kolbe played for the Stormers, baed in the Western Cape, he also played provincial or state level rugby in France, but you are then selected to play for your country, in this case South Africa, AKA The Springboks, the national team. So you can change your franchise but will always be a South African and play for the Springboks.
How does club rugbt work in SA?
I don't know much, the bulls, sharks, stormers, only play n europe and not in the national league?
And before that, they only played in super rugby?
There's local tournament then there's international club tournaments, or inter franchise tournaments.
@@juanantoniogomezdelpulgarg2273 5 teams play in Europe the rest locally. The b sides of the 4 URC teams also plays in the local competition
I don't think anyone would get upset if you say Kolbe is the Messi of Rugby I think most would agree, got so much love for Kolbe he's 2 time world cup champion he's my Goat❤
Yeah its amazing and the fact that he could've been in 3 world cups if they didnt think he was too small, insane

The Springboks are the national rugby team with players chosen from the different clubs. His local rugby club was the Stomers. He went on to play club rugby in France. He's currently playing club rugby in Japan. They play for the Springboks when they are selected to represent the country.
Yes 🇿🇦👌
Kolbe est sans doute le meilleur joueur de rugby et un des plus grands sportifs se tous les temps.
I am from the Western Cape and trust me there’s lots of Cape Town boys who’s following in Cheslin’s footsteps, they get made super quick here.
Yeah, I'm from Cape Town and the same ethnic group as Kolbe and I see the young boys in our communities run and sidestep like he does naturally. It's just in them.
That Charge down was brilliant against France in the RWC it kept us alive in the game ..Kolbe is a great example of NEVER GIVE UP eventhough he was critic for his size, but once again it's proven that DYNAMITE comes in small packages ❤
Nic is correct, Mookie. Cheslin Kolbe is the Lionel Messi of World Rugby 🏉. No lie at all. I love your content, gents. Much love and support from South Africa 🇿🇦
😂"this is the springboks, because I I see crazy eyes in there"
Eben 😂😂😂
Kolbe against the "all wax"
- "watch yourself baby"
😂😂😂
Bakkies Botha's successor - Eben Etzebeth. I love these ouens!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Bakkies used to be a club bouncer, lol. Eben and his brother are known brawlers, too.
What's with the gaming ads.
Ardie Savea and Marlie Packer were the World Rugby Players of the Year for 2023.
International players don't just play for their nations. They all have a "day job'. They play for clubs too.
It's kind of like playing for a top notch College team in American Football and then turning around and playing in the NFL too.
That's the Stormers, a SA club side. Yes that was Eben you saw there. When playing with their clubs they will play both with and against other International players from their own and possibly other national teams.
If you want back stories, watch Chasing The Sun. That documentary series will explain why us South Africans are so passionate about our Boks 🇿🇦
Hey can you send the link please 🙏🏽
@@dunsonhouse I can't find all 5 episodes on yt. If you have a VPN I could give you links.
I can only find the 5th episode on yt (linked below). It's based on the Bokke winning the 2019 World Cup. There's another Chasing The Sun being released next year based on the 2023 world cup.
Here are some links that will give you an idea of the 2019 documentary:

NOBODY CAN SIDESTEP LIKE THIS MAN
You don't join the Springboks, you get selected
The blue and white team is called The Stormers. Crazy eyes was also on the team😂
It's amazing that south Africa played 2 less world cups because of apartheid and still won more world cups that than the all blacks and Australia they are just a different team when it comes to championship matches coz they never lost a final
Rugby is played at club level and at national level in the professional format. When you see him in the green and gold or the white and light blue these are his national colours playing for South africa, in the beginning he used to play for the Stormers a club in South Africa but later on took a deal with a French team playing in red or white or black and red. But he only ever plays at national level for South Africa
Rugby works just like soccer/football where you have provincial teams within a country, so Kolbe played for the Stomers in SA, then left to play in France, just like for example Ronaldo leaving his local team in Portugal to go play in Spain etc.
He hasn't left South Africa. They play Club Rugby and can join international clubs. But when it's a World Cup or when the Springboks play another nation they Play for South Africa. .. the two Favourite clubs in South Africa are the Stormers who he plays for and the Sharks .
There were other small players who didn't make it because of the coaches You guys must check out Gio Aplon he is also from South Africa
Lads, I enjoy your reactions, what you miss is the nuances and the size of the occasions in which this magic happens.
As a rugby purest watching his mastery brings tears to the eye.
Would love to give you a proper run down of why this is so significant.
Peace.
Great dude! Grew up just a short while from me and he was quick growing up.
He's an inspiration to us.
Yeah, I think he is the Messi of Rugby. That little "Springbok jump" just before he fires the jets... that's iconic, and allows him to "hit the ground running".
A Springbok in the wild does something similar.
He changed Springbok rugby a couple years back due to his size, back in the day You had to be very Big to play as wing in the Bok team. Wit his step he opened the Door for players like Arendse and a lot of other guys.
Please react to Kolbe's cousin, Wayne van Niekerk....the man who broke Michael Johnson's records.
Do we are talking Rugby not athletics what’s going?
@@hopeaguero7460 it's just to show where Cheslin gets his pace from
you do get both man of the match, but also player of the year. This could be your home countries award or the international one. He hasnt won the latter YET
Money bro'everybody wanted to buy him!Game winner for every team!!
I feel like these guys' loyalty to American football was tested!
This was him at the stormers, his franchise in cape town, South Africa.
That lil jump its call the Goose
I love your videos on SA Rugby guys please keep it up!
The springboks is the national team - the green and gold. The blue and white is “the Stormers” which is his club team. It is equivalent to playing basketball for your club (I.e the Brooklyn Nets) and your country (I.e the USA dream team)
didn't know yall saw my comment much love and keep grinding love the content🙏🏼❤️stay blessed
And the reason they dive in the end is to make it more difficult to tackle. In case somebody was wondering. Dave south africa.
The team with the blue jersey Kolbe played for in SOUTH africa was the Stormers based in Cape Town 🇿🇦
He left to join another club but when its the world cup he will come back to lay for the Springboks which is the international South African team its a bit like soccer where you go to different clubs all over the world but for the world cup you play for your country
Appreciate the comment
The springboks are the national team of South Africa, they represent the country. The teams you saw him in, other than the colours green and gold, are teams in the different leagues in the different countries he played in. The players that play for the springboks are basically the best of the best South African players in that position from each and every one of the different teams in the various leagues around the world…
Basically like how there’s a team usa basketball team where the players are chosen from each team in the league…
Man, ya'll are great at this reaction game. Keep keeping on 💯
He left to go play some relaxing club rugby overseas😎.
Once a South African, always a South African, their hearts beat green & gold to become Springboks, no matter where they play, they play for the love of the game & dedicate themselves to the sport.
The orange jerseys are the Orange FreeState Cheetahs. It's similar to the bible belt in the US.
Great commentary and love your clips from a South African living in New Zealand land of the All Warps
The blue and White jersey is for the DHL Stormers
I think you should look for Faf🤞🏽👀🇿🇦 that is another Short monster
Great video, Colby has changed the game for sure
The Springboks are South Africa(country)... Before he left for France he played for a team called Somers and for Western Province in province level(or state). When he went to France he played for a team in France... His country still being SA
Most players left to play for oversees clubs- money. But they are still selected for their national teams.
Love that you are so quiet on this one (first 6 minutes) cause he's so good there's not much to say.
Howzit guys from Namibia, South Africa's northern neighbors, and Springbok supporters. The provincial team Kolbe's playing for, Stormers or Western Province vs the Bulls or Blue Bulls is like Real Madrid vs Barcelona, or like Liverpool vs Manchester United, or like Nadal vs Federer, or in rugby terms, like the Springboks vs All Blacks....it's huge...it's the oldest and biggest provincial rivalry in South African Provincial rugby....
I feel you mookie the all wacks baby ❤ you guys all the way from 🇿🇦 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦!!!
Kolbe and 'Crazy Eyes" Etzebeth playing for the Stormers 8:00
Two on him at all times, one takes the inside other on the out side ,and don't fall off your line ,😊then he steps your team lol awesome heart , awesome skills, peace ❤
He is just good no doubt about that ❤
I see crazy eysEs on there😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah Mookie! there comes the all wacks right there baby 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂!!!
player of the year =MVP
Cheslin won everything at auction/available. He had to go to grow, and just to remind everyone that Cheslin is Wayne Van Niekerk, Olympic gold medal winner`s cousin
Every sport players get to be signed into team France pay a hell of money for Cheslin like now after RWC china has put more money to have him and now his playing in china something Ronaldinho is Brazilian playing for Barcelona Ronaldo for Madrid but during World Cup your country call you back home to represent your country.🇿🇦🇿🇦
He played in both South Africa and France for money for clubs. He still plays for the Springboks, South Africa's national rugby team. He was part of the team that won the 2023 world cup.
Watch more “full matches” of rugby union mate.
Here in Australia we have 3 versions of rugby, Rugby Union, Rugby League & Aussie Rules
Those were the South African teams playing against each other
There's an old saying It's not the size of the dog in the fight it's the size of the fight in the dog
That teams is provincial teams, currie cup and the time of super rugby.
Outside national team they play provincial or overseas.
These teams are professional regional within South Africa. The same teams play in an international championship with other professional teams in Europe as well as Southern Hemisphere teams.
Big poison small btls. Keep in mind kolbe played for stormers left for better opportunities he got it. Wayne van Niekerk is his cousin Olympic 400m champion record holder. Talent run deep in his family
Most of the matches he's playing for his club in South Africa .. The Stormers
South African professional rugby players don't earn much on home soil: they go overseas (mainly Europe and Japan) where they are well-paid, then return as a Springbok for international games. This is also a good way to gain skills and work with international refs and coaching staff and garner high-income promotional/advertising sponsorship. Rugby career lasts about 12 years (if no serious injury) , so you need to capitalise in your 20s.
Appreciate that info family
The Springboeks is the South African national team. The others are club sides.
The French clubs offer lots more money than the South African clubs, but fortunately he’s still available for national selection in South Africa
😂😂😂crazy eyes that is 2 south africa teams
Check out Grant Williams and Cobus Reinach, they are even faster than Kolbe, but Kolbe still the goat.
Nah come one guys use your brains. He was playing for Stomers thats a team to play for another team & the springboks is a national team. Just like lets say you play for USA national team & play for Miami Heat regional
Appreciate the comment my guy
I can’t to see the USA play in their hosted RUGBY WORLD CUP in 2031😅
Yes, Kolbe went to play for a French National League
If you Guy's really want to know these great players watch the documentary: Chasing the Sun
All of the current Springbok team Stories, it will change your perspective, how they really fought the challenges they had to face and the true patriotic and resilient mindset South African people have.
The Springboks are the national team. The guys all play for various teams as well as the national team. The names are literally on the top left and/or bottom of the screen...
You guys should checkout the Highlights of the O.G. Power Ranger. His name is Gio Aplon. That dude was special, better than Kolbe in my eyes.
Rugby is a winter sport ,summer in South Africa means its winter in France. Longer period to practice your skills.
And he left South Africa because he was changing club teams… kind of like the do in soccer. So players in South Africa tend to go to European teams for the money
Both Union & League have 2 halves that are around 40 mins & can go into overtime
If you think kolbe is a wizard then watch the guy he just assisted in the first clip name is SEBELO SENATLA the guy is a demon
Every sports you get to selected according to the criteria status meaning positive impact maybe he’s not there yet, but I think he should e given a chance on springbok selection.
@hopeaguero7460 sevens rugby he's arguably the best to ever play but in 15s the winger spots in Sa are on lockdown for the next 10yrs man
He left South African clubs for a French one but still plays for the national team
You play for a franchise (stormers at the time) and national team (springboks/south africa)
NFL WILL BE TO EASY FOR A WORLD PLAYER LIKE HIM
Have you guys seen Gio Aplon. The blueprint of Kolbe and Arendse.
Send link so we can check it out
ua-cam.com/video/YgnO6p0RA5Y/v-deo.htmlsi=tTcQRoyEtHiVkneS
SPRINGBOKS is the SA NATIONAL TEAM representing the country , EBEN , KOLBE also play on the same province {WESTERN PROVINCE } representing Cape Town in this case - the local team is called STORMERS - ( AKA CAPE of STROMS } the old settlers called it Cape of Storms because , beautiful Cape Town is located at the point where two oceans meet, namely ATLANTIC and INDIAN ocean
hope that give you better understanding
Kolbe is a brilliant sidestepped with power Definitely didn’t change rugby. As far back as Danie Gerber who had a phenomenal sidestep with power played….
There have always been players that have stood out for certain athletic gifts…
I have a question. Do you think any American football player can last 20 minutes in a rugby match?
Just to let you know in Rugby if you aren't held by the player that has tackeled you, you can get back up and carry on running.
Yea we are starting to figure that out
Rugby players get Player of the year awards. However, South Africa are never favorites for those awards. They play best as a team than individuals.
that blue team in the start is the stormers
Yes sir
Can a player like Kolbe succeed in NFL? An age old question. In rugby, the game is more fluid and he cannot be tackled without the ball, giving him an entire field to read the game and set himself up to strike. In the NFL, he can be blocked before he gets in position to receive - so a whole different skill set required
He has lots of cups with SA like 1million cups ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
These guys low key sound like British people impersonating
Guys go watch chasing the sun this doc will show you so much
SENATLA next please
He plays out of season overseas
Remember in general short men are faster than tall men
Remember rugby players run faster than American football players do😂
Kolbe left for France because he was considered to be to small for the Springboks selectors at the time and probably wanted to make some money in the French competition which is the highest paid.
Instead of MVP we have world player of the year, who is currently Ardie Savea
Not everyday you are the first to like and comment on a video
Thank you for that
