My VStrom Buffets m’y helmet like crazy even with a Givi airflow on the highest possible position.
Does this actually work? Fortnine wants 140$ for what is essentially a piece of plastic.

What colour is the puig you have dude? I’m looking at the light smoke, and not sure how light (or dark) it actually is. Lots of people say the clear screens looks best, my bike is black so hoping it can pull off a tinted screen?

The puig is a light smoke, I prefer it as it hides some bug splatter, the bane of clear screens haha.

Just bought an 800 xcx and looking for addons. Thanks for posting this, will get myself a screen like this, I think.
Have you considered other crash bars?

Nils Bylander thanks man, the screen is a definite must change and I did consider other bars such as the SW Motech engine+body guard. The factory guard is really a very expensive bare minimum, especially for serious off roading. I’m on a 1200 now but will likely beef it up with 3rd party accessories.

I am just above 6'3" so the stock screen and the factory tall screen were useless. The Puig + wind deflector made a huge difference but wind still hit the top of my head. Some bikes just don't fit lanky people as well. Heck even my goldwing with the screen fully up didn't work that well for me. I traded the tiger 800 on a 1200 and am planning on trying the v-stream tall windscreen. I'll post a vid on that too when I get it. Thanks for the question buddy!

That was helpful, bud! Thanks. I'm 5'10 - do you think I need the extra deflector thingy? Hope all is well dude!

Alex Trajano thanks buddy! I think just the screen is ok. It’s a lot of extra money for the deflector and it helps but only a little. If your using a helmet with a visor you might pick up a little buffeting.
