This is based on the assumption that the definition of hinged and unhinged is based on he person, in which case this comment could be correct But there's another interpretation which is that hinged and unhinged are 2 categories that you can put any action in, and both have standards, and rules as to which actions are which, that apply to any and all creatures In the second case, it is absolutely Possible for baby to be completely unhinged, and have never been hinged
@Jonathon Thomas its also entirely possible that emily asked for a familiar off screen and that was the one he invented for her and worked him into the story. (And way more likely)

Not to mention, everyone playing that campaign(including Brennan) are top-notch improv actors. So yes, given the circumstances and the way this happened, it is ENTIRELY likely that this was completely improv'd
@Jonathon Thomas yes I have seen it, and I know how much stuff happens in the backround as admitted by the characters. Brennan is as meticulous as he is good at improv, and does a lot of talking to his players between games.
tbh i think Emily & Siobhan just tickle Lou's sense of humor in a different way than the others 😭 i've always noticed that his characters tend to bond with Siobhan's and/or Emily's in a really familial or trusting way, which always warms my lil heart :,) & it seems Emily's characters' shenanigans (classic Emily shit) never fail to make Lou crack tf up 😭 also i feel like with Zac, Beardsley, Brennan & Murph it's very like "these are my bros, yeah they're funny" vs with Emily & Siobhan it's like "these are my *girlies* and i *will* giggle with them"
I would also like to remind everyone that I believe Ayda was in the gem with Fig when she just randomly says "But.... he just, wanted to whisper and scream! 😟" and has 0 context for what Baby is/was and was probably standing there like "????????"
I love everyone's reaction to hearing Baby was destroyed. Brennan is so serious, Emily is visibly in shock, Murph is surprised, Lou and Zac are happy but pause a second before faking a sad "oh no..." and Siobhan just has the polite hand over the mouth.

honestly as much as i love zac and ally’s responses to baby i especially love lou’s. not much gets him giggling but he LOVED baby
