Liver sausage (Leberwurst) originated like from the South-West of Germany. There is a sort called "Pfälzer Leberwurst" which is a geographical protected term. I guess it's more popular here. I've used to eat liver sausage when I was younger. Today I could only eat the variant with poultry meat, but it's rare here.
